Hello Danny. Oh WOW the food looks amazing. I am a supportive of "Mom & Pop" restaurants. Thank you again for taking the time to share your food adventures. Love your honest reviews. I love how you rate the rice. I have to admit I am a rice snob. I can't wait to try the restaurants you visited. I hope you continue to find hidden gems of restaurants of amazing places to eat.

Ive eaten there twice. First time was soicy ramen and some rype if mizzwrella stuffed pork. Honestly, it wasnt that good. Second time I had chicken katsu and pork katsu wuth curry. Those dishes were absolutely magnificent for the 9.99-$10.99 price point. My go to katsu olace now. Also they has the best tasting spam misubi ive ever eaten. Flavored right, with a nice smoke flavor added in.

They will raise the prices once they get more business. The curry sauce looked very good! There’s a crab boil spot “Capt. Louie” on Bermuda Rd. where they have $20 whole 2 lb lobsters. I went and we got two! Delicious 🤤

Catching up on your videos... this place looks awesome. Everything looks so good. Btw, I went to Kang's Kitchen in the Rio Hotel. I got to experience the servers cooking my meats for the first time. I'm used to having to cook my own meats when going to Korean BBQ in Hawaii. I was told I could cook it myself, but I let them do it since I never got to experience this before. The meats were awesome and the banchans were pretty good...no fish cake though.😢

Hi Danny the Medic. Related to your suggestion to mention your videos to the staff/restaurant owner and why I am eating here, I went to LaLa Noodles and asked for chef AJ. He knew you immediately, and remembered the interview with him at Churches Fried Chicken. He was so nice, asked if we wanted him to make something special not on the menu, and informed our waiter to elevate the service level provided. Hence, helps your channel and for the viewer and better dining experience. Thank you.

The traditional katsu is a tenderized pork cutlet, panko-breaded, pan-fried, and served with a sauce. The German schnitzel, invented independently, is a tenderized pork cutlet, covered with bread crumbs, pan-fried, and served with a sauce. Just one of the coincidences of human cultures.

Restaurants like that need to be in every city in America. Now I want to go to Las Vegas just to go there.
That sauce is basically Bulldog brand style sauce. It's fruit and vegetable sauce that is actually very similar to, maybe an imitation of, British "brown sauce" like HP or American "steak sauce" like A1. The big difference is that both the American and British sauces are made with fermented fish, like Worcestershire sauce is, and for once a Japanese recipe DOESN'T contain fish and is made with just fruit, vegetables, and vinegar. It's amazing just how much it tastes like A1 but without the fancy expensive ingredients like anchovies, clove, and orange peel. Maybe there is clove in Bulldog. They don't list it.

As someone that has eaten pork katsu by Japanese and Korean restaurantors, there is a difference between the two. Korean restaurantors will use a meat mallet to think out and “enlarge” the meat. The Japanese restaurateurs prefer the pork to be as thick as possible. Even though this is a Japanese restaurant, it is a Korean restaurantor

I can say from eating at at least 10 katsu places in Vegas, matsus was actually the biggest and most tender by far. It is just as thick as all other katsu places, definitely is not thin when I had it. It's just big, giving it the look of being thin.

DTM there are also a LOT of annoying bloggers too... There was one guy who went to Palm's AYCE and filled his table with lobsters and proceeded to do gross things... The mgt said no more for you till you EAT ALL YOU TOOK... He ended up filming himself throwing the whole table away... AYCE changed their policy after that and RAISED their prices to like $90 and screwed EVERYBODY... so don't be too eager to try to force your "name" onto a bunch of restaurants around town... You could be banned just as easily... Keep it low key and friendly... re: 9.99, good for LV competition... seems like more of a lunch place... Limited Japanese menu, no fish/sushi... Hope they make it...

I did that exact same thing, but I only took 8 lobsters because that is how many I was gonna eat... that guy took WAY too many lobsters, but if he is like RAINA and can eat them ALL then that is fine, if he does not eat them all, then that is not right... ua-cam.com/video/qTP4KdtGr4U/v-deo.htmlsi=bdFhn5hYFHk-6Okv&t=25

Rookie move on the takoyaki. Well made ones are always molten hot on the inside. And by the way, it's pronounced ton-koh-tsu ramen. Not the same as ton-kah-tsu ramen.
