To all reactors please turn on English subs because the lyrics and raps have nuances and references which you will miss. XG is very unique as they sprinkle references to anime, music, fashion, design, art, and culture. Having the subs will enhance the experience for both you and your viewers
I totally agree! And usually, I turn on the engl subs, but I forgot this time for the first watch through. 🙈 I'm sorry about that. However, I did notice and turn them on for the second time watching
"Woke Up" the previous single - is rap heavy There are a number of tracks off the current album "Awe" with MVs - "Something Aint Right" and "IYKYK" both are more vocal heavy/pop. The two tracks on the album without MVs are RnB "Is This Love" and "In The Rain"

Well to the XG rabbit hole please enjoy your stay. The effects and visual are in all XG MV. There's a vox series of them (Juria, Chisa and Hinata) the vocalist and xyphers for the rapline (Cocona,Jurin, Maya and Harvey) but if you like this mv I think their new album is my favorite one and I have them all
The QR code works if you do it as the mask transforms to Hinata, it searches "Pig". I don't know if it is intentional but there's Alpha theories behind it already. The rap line are the warriors in this and the Vocal line are the Goddesses.
Oh that's so cool! I really hoped the QR code would actually work! With the attention to detail they showed all throughout the MV I can't imagine the QR leading to "Pig" is coincidence 🤔 I'm curious to what the theories are on this
@@alextralexa Maya, Cocona, Harvey are the hunters (wolves) in relation to the "3 little pigs" a reversal - 3 wolves hunting a pig or in this case wolves hunting/fighting against the distraction of technology/industry (pigs)
@@alextralexa There was another post I saw that I can't find now with another explanation as well I believe from the Princess Mononoke references regarding "pig".
@@alextralexa Also this is from another commentor "The director of this mv is Cho Giseok. He's a popular surrealist artist. He also directed Grl Gvng and Woke Up. He's good at blending surrealism and cultural realism in his work. He and XGALX design and production team used CGI/2D/3D to create this masterpiece. It's not all aesthetics either. XG mvs are multi-layered and multi-dimensional. They used a lot of MJ references so you could say that this is like a tribute to him - Thriller, moonwalk, "dangerous", the Earth Song. There are also pop culture references like Princess Mononoke, Hunger Games, the way Harvey stopped the bullets like in the Matrix, GOT wildings"
Wow thank you so much for finding these theories and interpretations for me to read! It's really fascinating how much different meaning and references they managed to put into this video!

Also, a few tidbits of info about XG: Credit to the 1 writing this originally (I've added a few things here & there & updated it, pls excuse the inerent grammar & spelling mistakes, English is not my native language): XG is a 7 member group formed by XGALX who's parent company is Avex. And lastly, but not least, I must certainly have to mention SIMON (JAKOPS), their PRODUCER/MANAGER/TRAINER,/ 2nd DAD, the true mastermind behind their concept & their succes.
