- Following rumors of lost camp, we head out to confirm if these rumors are true or false. After some searching, we were able to locate what we believe to be a winter camp from the American Civil War. Epic adventure I can’t wait to go back.

Wow. Awesome spot. ❤
Great finds! That’s awesome watching y’all dig those pits. Lots of work but rewarding sometimes though for sure. Good luck next time and thanks for sharing Matt.
I’ve only found one three ringer. You guys had an awesome day!

Excellent hunt Matt!
Thanks, my friend
I made it to the end😊
Good digging

Why the gold machines ?
There are a hundred reasons really. First, this area we hunt has some very mineralised soil and few machines see past a couple inches. Secondly, this machine is the deepest on the market in good soil or bad. I find lots of items in places that have been pounded. There is soo much more to these machines than just looking for gold. It is amazing that more people don’t hunt with them.
I found some mini balls that have a hole in the top here in Canada. why was it done? lots of different answers online. One said to reuse the bullet which sounds most reasonable.
The holes are because they were pulled out of the musket. Nice fines.
@GoneDiggin okay that's cool to know thanks
