Great Marcus…..thx for that……thx thx…..👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love you Marcus. You will always be my hero. Hersch from WRVR 1977-1981.
Hersch!! You good brother?
Eric, Alex and co. with Marcus is just too good to be true. Top notch, of course.
Someone should organize a festival of Miles Music through the Years. I guess it could go on for a few days.
That’s a WOW from me!
Wow so cool
Outstanding!!! Took me back to a period when I had to readjust to a different sound which actually expanded my understanding of how to listen without trying to interpret what’s being played.Once I truly got it there was no turning back.I truly miss that period. Thanks Marcus and thank you Shawn for posting❤
Chilling. I remember eating mushrooms in high school and hearing this for the first. It was life changing.
Definitely grooving , thank you for sharing this beautiful music
Glad you enjoy it!
so much to that simple bassline...Dave Holland ...but this!!! MM got it deep in the pocket groove
My old (70) jazz bass with GHS Briteflats and Ampeg B115 delibered deep fat bass . . . as deep as this one but clear! -(as long as I didn't kill the note with my hand!!)
Classy title
I'm not sure Miles was concerned about it.
Everlasting art
Who is the drummer here? I love his sound
Anwar Marshall... he's incredible. I will list the musicians in the description later today. Thanks for checking it out!
One word... WOW
Who are the musicians?
I just added the lineup in the description! 😊
Thank you!!!
I took the instructions seriously, I even took an extra bong hit for this!
The story about the record producer's memo is true. And not just any producer - that was Teo Macero.
pretty sure bitches brew came out spring of 1970 not 71
Correct.
Marcus gets a pass for that detail. 😆
@@shawnmaloneypro Of course he does. This is great!
Mariental only as a sideman.? Mmmmm...
featured performer ... 😉
Of course as a sideman or featured performer with a marketable name like Marcus Miller. Perspective hommes. Saw him as sideman with Jeff Lorber in a small jazz club in Frankfurt. in 2015 or so. In the 90's in Orange County with somebody as sideman. With Chick Maybe. Also on about 20 other gigs on youtube.
He was co-bandleader at a festival in Czech Republic at another gig I saw. That's the "highest billing" of his at the 3 gigs over the last 30 years I've heard. He is probably a god to saxophonists ....but that's not going to fill a house in most cities.
Marcus Miller has flat wounds on his bass. Prove me wrong.
I highly doubt that... not on his Fender, anyway.
@shawnmaloneypro Ernie ball slinky flatwounds are very bright on the high end. Marcus has a lot of bottom. Too much for thin brights. He has a lot going on that he doesn't say.
@@shawnmaloneypro $500 to bottle of piss, those are flatwounds
@@groovemaster8632agree to disagree 😉
@@shawnmaloneypro ok. Here's your bottle of piss.
Was is das?
