I'd recommend to save the "Immortal Songs Medley" until you see/react to each of the original Immortal Songs performances. The medley is just excerpts from some of the songs, so you really don't get the full effect of the songs. Of course the medley is still BOMB AF cuz it's MAMAMOO. 💜🌱

Given the amount of content, you might want to consider shifting ITZY to Wednesday to share with Blackpink, as both groups have relatively-fewer content (ITZY because they're new, and Blackpink because of YG dungeon). But that could be a problematic decision because Blinks can get a little sensitive about sharing attention with other groups - especially if they're of similar concepts like ITZY. Purple Hawke's the 45-minute one isn't it? Bleh. It gets more attention than it deserves, and other guides, more in the 15-minute range, are enough to cover all the high points.
They are one of the best vocal group in Kpop right now and I know a lot of people have/will tell you to watch their Immortal Songs medley to get a real taste of their vocals but I urge you to watch all of the performances in full! The medley is great but it doesn’t do justice to what they have accomplished on that show! If you just search MMM Immortal Songs on yt you’ll find a play list with all 13 appearances. They’re all around 3-4 minutes in length & let me tell you it’s THE best 45 minutes you’ll spend on yt! You will not regret it!
Your reacts are wonderful ❤️😍 I have a hard time choosing a Bias on Mamamoo, I am very in doubt between Solar and Hwasa , both are icons of the generation, that act of tearing the shirt of Solar is considered one of the greatest feminist acts of K-pop , since Korea does not talk about it,, she said she did it because she’s always seen male idols do this and be deified, so I wanted to see if people’s reactions would be the same by seeing a idol woman doing this.Not to mention her vocals, which are perfect. And Hwasa man she’s an inspiration,She once said that she went to audition and the guy told her that she sang and danced very well, but like she wouldn’t pass because she was fat and ugly, she said that day, went home, started crying and saw a video of a presentation, which inspired her, at that moment she promised herself, that if she didn't fit the standards of beauty of her generation, then she then she would be the new standard, and when she was at the height of fame she would present that song from that video she saw, so that other people could get inspired and so she did. It’s simply amazing, it’s very complicated to choose one of the two for all that they represent .All 4 are wonderful, but they both catch me at crucial points and for causes that I struggle and identify with.

5:13 to answer that question, usually kpop trainees undergo intense training in singing, dance, acting, language and more and after many years of training, before debut the managment decides your position on the group based on what your good at or what they think what's best for the group many kpop companies has differnt procees on their training but that's just my understanding.

Q:Why do the rappers have amazing singing voices? A: At entertainment agencies, when the trainees first start they all learn multiple positions to see which area suits them better. They might have got into the company for singing, but could be the best rapper out of the group and will now be the official main rapper. Okay so here is your answer for "how can rappers sing/singers rap as well?" And dance obv. Entertainment companies hold auditions every week or month (depends on the company) and only 1-2 people pass if they are good enough, and sometimes nobody passes. I am talking about thousands of people auditioning. So they have to be perfect in what they do already. For example you have to write your own verse and do your own beat and perfrom in front of the judges. And you can also apply as a vocalist, dancer, actor and a model. So here is the thing, you have to be at most 20 to apply for auditions. They are choosing kids at around the age of 0-17 because they want to train them for a long time and make them even more perfect than they already were. So kids are applying for audition and if they are choosen they become a trainee under that company. The system is like a school system. Trainees are living at the dorms of the companies and they practice everyday all day. Like I am talking about 18 HOURS TRAINING. Like 10 hours dance and 4 hours vocal or rap and the rest for acting something. Every person MUST become a proffessional dancer. They wake up early, start training and at night they just sleep for so short, which is so unhealthy. They are too tired and want to sleep but they can't. And this lasts for 2 to 7 years. Can you imagine living everyday like this for this much years and also nothing is guaranteed about debuting. AND YOU ARE AT THAT AGE, A KID BUT ALSO GROWING UP AND HITTING PUBERTY! You don't know what is going to happen in the end. You can be trained for 5 years but can't debut due to the companys financial or idk some kind of problems. Can you imagine the stress?? So they are making like an exam every month to see if you have improved enough. And if you can't improve for idk 3 months they basically kick you out. Say bye to your dreams. No excuses. And if you've improved, they pick you and train EVEN HARDER (like it's possible) to make you basically an ENTERTAINMENT MACHINE, not a human. You can't have life and feeling at this point, you have to train and train. And if you are from another country, it's the worst. You are not seeing your parents for like 2-3 years because you are working that hard. Anyways if you are picked as one of the good ones, they put you guys (the best ones out of those people) in a group and train you as a group. While they are putting people in a group, they are choosing rappers, dancers, visuals and vocalists to make the PERFECT TEAM. Neither of these thing should be less than one another. So this is how a K-Pop group is formed. That's why K-Pop is just so good and perfect in all ways. They train the kids in all fields. But this is the reality and the background. There are so many people who gets mental sicknesses due to the stress of "being perfect" and some even suicides (Jonghyun from SHINEE, Sulli, Goo Hara and more..). They work so hard to debut and when they finally do it, they just feel like there is nothing important left in life, they run out of themselves, they don't have a life and any goals other than entertaining and living for people. Luckily, as K-pop starts to be more international, the conditions are getting better. Bc these are normal for Korea but not for the rest of the world. Like in the past there were many cases that girl groups were abused by the company workers, owners or the managers. They were even used for entertaining the buisinness men and CEO's of big companies and they threat the girls by saying "we won't make you debut"... So yeah, things are getting better but still, I think it will always be so competetive and perfection centered bc Korean people generally are like that.

This guide is good, but there's definitely more updated guides out there now (with more accurate information as well). There's Introduction Guide to Mamamoo by Sondery (if you're mostly interested to know their roles in the group and their vocal and performance skills), and Introducing Mamamoo by Purple Hawke (if you're interested to know what the Sondery guide talks about and plus get to know their personalities a lot more. This one is the most current and accurate one, although it does fall short on Wheein's information). This guide you watched got several things wrong, like Hwasa isn't the lead rapper (she does rap, but Byul is the main rapper). Also, Wheein isn't the main dancer (although, if you asked me who the best dancer is, Wheein would be my answer) as the group doesn't have a main dancer role assigned to either of them; both Wheein and Moonbyul are said to be the "main dancers" though. And there are a ton of cool facts that were left out, which is unfortunate. I recommend you watch Introducing Mamamoo by Purple Hawke after you've watched some of their music-related content, I promise it'll make you understand more why we're such a dedicated fanbase. I'll definitely stick around for your MMM content.

A lot of people are recommending the Immortal Songs Medley. I'd actually say no, watch the individual performances to get the real power of their performances. A good approach would be to run thru their videography in the order they made it. Because you're going to end up watching everything anyway, might as well be systematic about it.

@@TooGrown You're welcome. Yeah, I know it's a lot... like I said, TWICE, MAMAMOO and Red Velvet will have the most content for you to react to. Given the amount of content, you might want to consider shifting ITZY to Wednesday to share with Blackpink, as both groups have relatively-fewer content (ITZY because they're new, and Blackpink because of YG dungeon). But that could be a problematic decision because Blinks can get a little sensitive about sharing attention with other groups - especially if they're of similar concepts like ITZY.
Or alternatively, you could just stick with the current schedule and finish off ITZY fast - I estimate you'll be done with the majority of their content within 3 months of reactions (3 MVs, 5-6 live performances, and then maybe 3-4 meme/crack/variety show videos). And then you'll have more space to either double-dip MAMAMOO or Red Velvet, or add a new group.

Purple Hawke's the 45-minute one isn't it? Bleh. It gets more attention than it deserves, and other guides, more in the 15-minute range, are enough to cover all the high points.
They are one of the best vocal group in Kpop right now and I know a lot of people have/will tell you to watch their Immortal Songs medley to get a real taste of their vocals but I urge you to watch all of the performances in full! The medley is great but it doesn’t do justice to what they have accomplished on that show! If you just search MMM Immortal Songs on yt you’ll find a play list with all 13 appearances. They’re all around 3-4 minutes in length & let me tell you it’s THE best 45 minutes you’ll spend on yt! You will not regret it!

I have a hard time choosing a Bias on Mamamoo, I am very in doubt between Solar and Hwasa , both are icons of the generation, that act of tearing the shirt of Solar is considered one of the greatest feminist acts of K-pop , since Korea does not talk about it,, she said she did it because she’s always seen male idols do this and be deified, so I wanted to see if people’s reactions would be the same by seeing a idol woman doing this.Not to mention her vocals, which are perfect. And Hwasa man she’s an inspiration,She once said that she went to audition and the guy told her that she sang and danced very well, but like she wouldn’t pass because she was fat and ugly, she said that day, went home, started crying and saw a video of a presentation, which inspired her, at that moment she promised herself, that if she didn't fit the standards of beauty of her generation, then she then she would be the new standard, and when she was at the height of fame she would present that song from that video she saw, so that other people could get inspired and so she did. It’s simply amazing, it’s very complicated to choose one of the two for all that they represent .All 4 are wonderful, but they both catch me at crucial points and for causes that I struggle and identify with.
Mamamoo has amazing discography, but what's even more impressive is that their solo songs are just as good as their group tracks. For solo songs I'd recommend the following: Solar (It's Been Awhile, Hello, & Song From the Past), Moonbyul (Selfish, In My Room, & Eclipse), Wheein (Easy, 25, & Goodbye), and Hwasa (TWIT, Be Calm, & Don't Give It To Me).

5:13 to answer that question, usually kpop trainees undergo intense training in singing, dance, acting, language and more and after many years of training, before debut the managment decides your position on the group based on what your good at or what they think what's best for the group

A: At entertainment agencies, when the trainees first start they all learn multiple positions to see which area suits them better. They might have got into the company for singing, but could be the best rapper out of the group and will now be the official main rapper. Might get in for visuals, but is able to train well enough to become a lead vocal. It’s a crazy world 🤯

Just my personal opinion: MAMAMOO the best Vocal girl group ever exist. Most k-pop group get popular for their Song, Looks, and High Buget Music Video. But MAMAMOO climb those ladder with their pure vocal talent. Okay so here is your answer for "how can rappers sing/singers rap as well?" And dance obv.
Entertainment companies hold auditions every week or month (depends on the company) and only 1-2 people pass if they are good enough, and sometimes nobody passes. I am talking about thousands of people auditioning. So they have to be perfect in what they do already. For example you have to write your own verse and do your own beat and perfrom in front of the judges. And you can also apply as a vocalist, dancer, actor and a model. So here is the thing, you have to be at most 20 to apply for auditions. They are choosing kids at around the age of 0-17 because they want to train them for a long time and make them even more perfect than they already were.
So kids are applying for audition and if they are choosen they become a trainee under that company. The system is like a school system. Trainees are living at the dorms of the companies and they practice everyday all day. Like I am talking about 18 HOURS TRAINING. Like 10 hours dance and 4 hours vocal or rap and the rest for acting something. Every person MUST become a proffessional dancer. They wake up early, start training and at night they just sleep for so short, which is so unhealthy. They are too tired and want to sleep but they can't.
And this lasts for 2 to 7 years. Can you imagine living everyday like this for this much years and also nothing is guaranteed about debuting. AND YOU ARE AT THAT AGE, A KID BUT ALSO GROWING UP AND HITTING PUBERTY! You don't know what is going to happen in the end. You can be trained for 5 years but can't debut due to the companys financial or idk some kind of problems. Can you imagine the stress??
So they are making like an exam every month to see if you have improved enough. And if you can't improve for idk 3 months they basically kick you out. Say bye to your dreams. No excuses. And if you've improved, they pick you and train EVEN HARDER (like it's possible) to make you basically an ENTERTAINMENT MACHINE, not a human. You can't have life and feeling at this point, you have to train and train. And if you are from another country, it's the worst. You are not seeing your parents for like 2-3 years because you are working that hard.
Anyways if you are picked as one of the good ones, they put you guys (the best ones out of those people) in a group and train you as a group. While they are putting people in a group, they are choosing rappers, dancers, visuals and vocalists to make the PERFECT TEAM. Neither of these thing should be less than one another. So this is how a K-Pop group is formed. That's why K-Pop is just so good and perfect in all ways. They train the kids in all fields. But this is the reality and the background. There are so many people who gets mental sicknesses due to the stress of "being perfect" and some even suicides (Jonghyun from SHINEE, Sulli, Goo Hara and more..). They work so hard to debut and when they finally do it, they just feel like there is nothing important left in life, they run out of themselves, they don't have a life and any goals other than entertaining and living for people.
Luckily, as K-pop starts to be more international, the conditions are getting better. Bc these are normal for Korea but not for the rest of the world. Like in the past there were many cases that girl groups were abused by the company workers, owners or the managers. They were even used for entertaining the buisinness men and CEO's of big companies and they threat the girls by saying "we won't make you debut"... So yeah, things are getting better but still, I think it will always be so competetive and perfection centered bc Korean people generally are like that.

This guide is good, but there's definitely more updated guides out there now (with more accurate information as well). There's Introduction Guide to Mamamoo by Sondery (if you're mostly interested to know their roles in the group and their vocal and performance skills), and Introducing Mamamoo by Purple Hawke (if you're interested to know what the Sondery guide talks about and plus get to know their personalities a lot more. This one is the most current and accurate one, although it does fall short on Wheein's information). This guide you watched got several things wrong, like Hwasa isn't the lead rapper (she does rap, but Byul is the main rapper). Also, Wheein isn't the main dancer (although, if you asked me who the best dancer is, Wheein would be my answer) as the group doesn't have a main dancer role assigned to either of them; both Wheein and Moonbyul are said to be the "main dancers" though. And there are a ton of cool facts that were left out, which is unfortunate. I recommend you watch Introducing Mamamoo by Purple Hawke after you've watched some of their music-related content, I promise it'll make you understand more why we're such a dedicated fanbase.

A good approach would be to run thru their videography in the order they made it. Because you're going to end up watching everything anyway, might as well be systematic about it.

I'm blink, but I think mamamoo is the best girl group of this generation,every member can dance, singing and rap. And also they are sooooo funny,you get watch some cracks video of them, that's so interesting.
