South Africans have been traumatized by apartheid, so Nigerians need to be sensitive to their issues. It is very disrespectful to try to take over someone else’s country or break their laws.

What a ridiculous discussion, you are downplaying a serious immigration issue in South Africa with petty competition

Perhaps instead of the banishment rhetoric for Nigerians to exit South Africa there must be in place a initiative to allow for mutual benefit. South Africans also must travel and settle in Nigeria to create a fair exchange. This way it will not be one sided o.We must de escalate thses negative labels, we are cousins

The arrival of nigerians to sa is because they are looking for greener pastures which is something south africans cannot go for in nigeria. Nigerian currency is too weak compared to rand. Forget about south africans relocating to a country where those who born in HER run away

@@TebuwaMaphela-nd7wl my point is this, we must unify the continent. Do not spread division and foolishness. Regardless of the monetary variances. You dont see civilize nations going around rallying for conflict that is a backwards mentality. And so what if Nigerians are seeking new beginnings in SA ?? Are we all not searching for a better life? Maybe both nations can develop a viable immigration process to allow a more welcoming transition into society

No! No! No! Nigerians are blackmailing us, Nigerians must understand that countries have different laws and bylaws, SA must end diplomatic and trade relations with Nigeria, otherwise ANC and EFF must be removed from power

@@fataiadegbenro984What this debacle has shown is the complete lack of history on both sides.
Murtala Muhammed gave a statement in 1976 calling the bluff of The West and their role in Apartheid. ObJ continued from there and sold BP. Nigeria carry Southern Africa matter for head. Not just South Africa alone. Countries in that region.
Nigeria did not go to Olympics 1976 because of South Africa. They even won their first tournament in 96 because we did not participate as defending champions 🎉
Their first two presidents were living here, without visa or passport because we believe in the power of Ubuntu, all Africans belong to the mother land.
We paid their children's school fees here and housed them, gave them jobs FREE OF CHARGE.
There are so many I cannot list but when I hear any South African coming to blame the rot in their country on a supposed criminal few Nigerians, I laugh at the idiocy and hypocrisy. Sizwe Bansi may be dead but his 'manhood lives on' 😂IYKYK
South Africans have not matured yet, that's what I will say. They find it convenient to talk about criminals but they think they don't have criminals even before De Boer gave them their country. They seem to forget about the Guptas and how Nigerians did not steal their money. The truth is there is an element of identity crisis here. When you think small, you are small.

This is a weird surface level reasoning discussion, Zero self-introspection and reflection. Do you guys understand what is happening in SA ? are you even interested in understating the issue ? Some of your compatriots are not good exports , why is this not something that is always swept under the carpet ? All around the world countries are banning NIgerian or are making it difficult for them to get a VISA. SAns are very hospitable , we have the highest amount of immigrants in Africa. Foreigners get free health care , free education and are afforded almost every right the SANs have. However, it seems like foreigners have taken advantage of our lax and corrupt system, instead of helping they are adding to our problems. The do thing that they dont even do in their countries. Unfortunately, these concerns are always brushed off as xenophobia and jealousy. These are people's lived experience and to talk about it in a nonchalant and dismissive way is such a bad faith approch.
