Thank you for saying this!! I am so frustrated with the teachings on "prerequisite hoops to jump through" to healing or blessings from God!
"Can God work something good in the midst of a horrible circumstance? Yes. But what happens is, He's so good in the midst of that horrible circumstance that people then think He's the AUTHOR of that circumstance."

Is healing just for sicknesses or is it for injuries too? On December 17th I broke my heel and tore my Achilles tendon in a few places. I am on a no weight bearing restriction and I am catching up on your healing sermons. I believe healing is still for today but I am not sure if it's for injuries.
Be healed injury! Nothing is impossible w God!

I read Joni's book when I was years younger, It didn't occur to me that it had put a bad seed into my soul. Upon hearing what her theology actually was, i repented for letting it affect me. I too am frustrated that our churches like to whine about illness, while preaching Jesus. As if he doens't care what goes on within the congregations. My faith is rising. Thank you!

My name is Nicholas and I live in Uganda. My wife and I ran a place where many children call home. One of them has Scoliosis and I feel very sad seeing him in this condition. Whenever kids fall sick, and the only solution is to get them to hospitals, I thank God that we are able to pay their medical bills, but I really feel bad that no matter how I pray I haven’t been successful…for lack of a better word. I am praying and this teaching has helped me to understand many things regarding healing. “Healing is God’s idea, not mine” and now I know that He wants this boy and many other kids under our care to be healed. Amen 🙏
Hey Nicholas thank you for sharing, and I am grateful for the work you and your wife are doing in Uganda. I think for me personally, the continual realization that God cares more about establishing His Kingdom and putting the world to rights, healing being an aspect of that, than I care, and I care so much, really balanced that personal tension for me. Jim's teaching has really helped me see that I don't have to have the perfect combination of words that will "unlock" God's healing in people's lives; rather, I simply ask for something that is in His nature.
