hello i am an artist/singer who try to choose her music genre and what type of genre i should focus on to finds my sound i already choose my univers i want something floral soft chill like the nature and i want people to feel like in flowers field when they listen to my music and that i can mix with other genre i have a lot of difficulties to choose a genre i love many of them and don't kwon how to choose one do i choose pop or not , guitar piano i don't no please help me . give a lot a details advices
I wouldn’t worry so much about deciding what genre to do because you can always make anything you want, you don’t have to stick with one sound. Just focus on what you enjoy making and the quality!
@@idlyblare so i don't think you understood it's a good thing to be able to change your style as you want and not feel locked up but without an identity i think you're nothing in the music industry because if nobody can identify yourself because you spend your time changing your sound you won't have yours what suits you and your universe I obviously want to feel free in my music but I want a typical song that I could modify in order to mix it with other genre and make it evolve but having my guideline in order to bring together a community that can identify me even if I modify it in order to sound more for example r&b jazz or pop that's why I already have my universe and I want a musical genre that corresponds to it in order to be able to make it evolve without losing my future fans because I would have an identifiable but modified sound and therefore gain other future fans. because drastically changing your musical style constantly can make you lose everything because people will ask themselves the question who are you if you change all the time and no one can identify with you, we listen to all different musical styles but they are all carried by different artists with their own sound/genre styles that can be identified even if they change or modify .
