I love hearing the Yangqin played. I've seen a couple live performances from a recent traveling scholar with this Center and I've heard this particular piece played a couple times. It's a good one
This and the guzheng are not only my two favorite traditional Chinese instruments, but also my two favorite instruments in general. If it wasn't for my less than dependable hands due to disability that makes them harder to use for a lot of things I would love to learn how to play one, the other, or both. :D

Thank you for beautiful performance! Can Yangqin play in any keys just like many western instruments? Or can it play in limited keys?
Modern yangqin is tuned chromatically, like the piano, therefore is capable of playing any key.

This is Chinese hammer dulcimer called Yang qin (pronounced as chin).
