You're young and very talented for your age, lovely work Cody!
I say this as a gifted self-taught super realist oil painter myself.
I'm mad about horses and Arabians in particular.
However, I instantly fell in love with Majestic Picasso, I've painted him twice now, such lovely colours to work with.
Given your age, your work is gonna scare other artists! 😂
You are definitely gifted.
And thank you for portraying the beauty of the beloved horse.
Keep up the awesome work Cody, it's important. ❤💪❤
So much of detailed explanation…your art is so so good!👌
This is crazy dude, you definitely deserve more attention
Keep up the good work! As someone who spent years around horses, I feel you did a great job with the anatomy. Every horse is different, and you've captured the spirit of this one :)
This is GORGEOUS! You are correct about eyes, people ALWAYS comment on the eyes in my paintings, woodburnings and drawings. They have to be full of LIFE! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!🎨🖌😁
Absolutely gorgeous!!

Hello; can you specify what size of brushes as this link goes to many choices. Haven't watched the entire video yet so perhaps you elaborate there.
I can’t seem to find the link for brushes ….are they synthetic or boars bristle? And the ivory dagger? Thanks for a great vid, beautiful work! Do you have a list for the color combos? I love your bright orange mix!
I wish you made a detailed video for this master piece
May i ask which colours you use here?
Hi do you have the full tutorial for this painting? I would like to buy it in dvd or downloadable format. Thank you.
Amazing talent btw, wish you were on Patreon.
Unfortunately I don’t have a full length DVD tutorial for this painting. Although I will start putting out full tutorials when I get my Patreon page up and running. Thanks!
@@codyoldhamartist That would be really great, thank you!
سبحان الله العظيم نور الله أكبر. جمال
You have talent, but I feel you have a lot of development yet to be realised.
May I suggest (perhaps it it coals to Newcastle?) that you spend some time around horses grooming them and learning the anatomy in a 3 dimensional way? I have watched a few of your videos and the eyes are not the actual eyes of a horse. You need to spend time around the animals you are trying to paint. All the great artists of history did have the luxury of a photograph as the main focus of their work. I think your art would benefit from time working from real life. It would move you up a notch from a talented, average painter, to an above average artist.
Think about it. It would be a shame not to develop your full potential.
Perhaps after you learn to work from real life, it will free up your work a bit and bring some life and movement into it too, always an added bonus for an artist!
Thanks for posting.
