I am planning to do a similar build, did you start with a 5.7 and swap the 6.1? Did the car need a new wiring harness and ECM from a donor car?

in the factory version, it was 5.7. we installed 6.1 and I reconfigured the PCM for it. now 6.4 is installed with the vvti system turned off and I also configured the native PCM
