Frustrating when people talk about international football in the same context as club football. Pep at each club team he’s been at took at least a season to get a grip of his style of play. He won’t get enough time with the players to implement his ideas and there’s a handful if that, that are technically good enough to carry out peps style.

Like all managers later on in their career they want to manage their own country. Pep would want to manage Spain, Jose is the only one that would love to do the England job because he loves English football, but Portugal is his long term goal. I think Tuchel would want to manage Germany in the longer term, however is very high maintenance in all his previous jobs so no good for the FA. Jurgen is too strong a character for the FA and I think he would like to manage Germany at a later time.
