Hello, we came upon this installation video and noticed that the bottom section was not cut accordingly for your ceiling height. The way it was installed does not provide full opening of the hatch door and the ladder angle is incorrect making it unsafe. This model works for ceiling heights 9'10"-12' where if the floor to ceiling height is not 12' you will need to cut the bottom section accordingly. The way this is done is by measuring from the end of the second section, following the angle of the first and second section, down to the floor to see what the length of the third section should be. Is that so you can energize the flux capacitor bro or go up there and kick start it if you have technical problems. Neat tuck away stairs too. Safe travels.
My ceilings are 11.5 feet. The specifications say it’s for 10-12 feet. However, we did have to cut about 8” off the bottom 🤷🏻♂️. Works now 😁😁. Thanks for commenting!

Great loft ladder but I’m sure it’s to long for the height you have ,you sure got some cable going on , looking good .
