This is by far the BEST fishing channel in all of UA-cam. Something magical about this channel .
Strong dedication to keeping the channel Key West KAYAK Fishing and not switching to Key West BOAT Fishing.
Looks like a great set up. Looking forward to see you fishing off of it.
C'mon Steve... TRIPPLE 2.5's!!! Live a little!
yeah but that won't be even power delivery so it would need quad 2.5 for the kill
I liked the "You want some". I'm always modifying my boats to be more of how I use them. I built a small wooden boat once from blueprints. I changed the design lines to accommodate the weight of a motor and made in seat storage with covers instead of just a seat before I built it. i weighed 54 lbs when finished and painted and would hold 3 full grown people, (about 4oo lbs very easily. It was oar powered mostly and I caught everything from Largemouth Bass to a 4.5 ft Hammerhead Shark. One day a Snook, (20 lb, roommate) and a 4.75 ft Tarpon that I lost four ft from the boat after a 25 minute chase down after the fish almost spooled me, with my roommate on the oars. He jumped completely out of the water twice, straight up. I tightened the drag just a bit on my 6000 series spin reel with 17 lb test when the fish was just four feet from the boat and tired. The hook pulled immediately.
Who knew Greedy Steve war a Trekie? Love the look of your new Romulan War Bird! :)
@@rebirth_mishap You are right Rob, my bad. I hope all the Trekies forgive me!
@@rebirth_mishap I know this for sure....We both like Greedy Steve! ;)
Very impressive love the duality of it
Littoral Combat Kayak!
Woooohooooooo!
Go get em Steve!
While I'm never going to sea in that myself, that yak is incredible. Cant wait for the vid
My man was ready to go to the Baja with this rig
Sick set up all she needs is those nice home made splash guards to stop the water getting in and you first catch 👍👍
Hey, I'm glad to see you again, that's not a kayak anymore...! That's a racing water Ferrari...✌👍😉👌
With all that stability you could put a all lawn chair( with nylon straps weighs about 2 lbs) and bungees to hold it down. I did this mod for offshore use. Stops the water hitting you as much running waves and easier to stand up and fish, cast or retrieve gear, saves a lot of wear and tear on the body.
I'm still processing what I've just seen
Awesome kiyak ..... very dramatic drumming at the start ..... 😀
Haven’t even watched the video yet and thinking’ ‘great click bait’. That’s a sexy kayak. Love your humor.
Dude that intro scene, Steve is getting serious!
Always good to have a backup motor in the garage anyway, just in case something happens to your primary, you’re not stuck on shore awaiting a repair or parts.
My mouth is watering that kyak is amazing 👏
Hey Steve stickman here I like it 💪
The duel motors did look good but I see your point !
duel 2.5’s... exhilarating!
That was a cool looking setup two motors though!!
You got your self a little beast. Impressive
Yes twins. Now to rig them to run equal lol
That's a "lean-mean-fishin-mahcine" love it brother!!!!!!!
Are those outriggers sold by themselves anywhere?
Shout out for the Esky Rods! Nice build 👏
Really nice setups.
Nice Steve !! You are the man. Keep up the great work.
Woweeee kazowaweeee! Love it! Love your channel!
Sweet! Twin 2.5’s make your square grouper run😂
Perfect opener!
That looks awesome. Send it!
About time you used the second ama!
Other suggestion:
Bixby electric motor for Hobie mirage-drive well, use it as trolling motor 😎👍👍👍
twins!! I figured you just had both since you'd be offshore. just run one as the primary and have the other if something were to happen to the primary.
JESUS!!!!!! What's next? "Hey everybody!! Beeeeeautiful day in the Florida Keys!!! Introducing the brand new nuclear powered 15,000,000 horse power Hobie rig."
Great Set up man 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻be Careful out real Far But Never Stop Giving Live Hell Back
If Q made James Bond Kayak it would be this
Steve and zoffinger finally had a baby
If you chamfer the inside of the tops of your pvc rod holders it'll be easier to insert the rods.
Wow! sounds like your going out for war out there ;-) you made the ultimate off shore kayak rig and its almost the same native small boat set-up here in Philippines. Good luck to your fishing trip Steve.
One bad ass rig
Wow..dual 25 HP's on a yak...that's bad ass ; )
It's a klingon bird of pray.
Sweet ride
This inspires me, I need to get afloat somehow, been thinking about a kayak!
Now you need a sail, and, bam!
SPEEDEYAK!!!! GO YAK GO!!!!
there is a real nice sail option for this setup! fuel is not a problem except in Florida Keys where it is often windless, but still - think about it?
I just used that same launching spot last week!
Wow!!! Pretty crazy man! 🙂🎣🎣🤙🏻
WHAY THE WHAT.....STEVE... .SWEET....HAVEN'T WATCHED YET.....BUT LOOKING AWESOME!!!!!
I seriously considered dual outriggers for mine, but without a clear side it'd be such a pain to land a fish without having to pull them up and over the outrigger.
Damn son you flexing on is now!!!
Super nice.
SICK rig!!
Where do you buy your stabilizer for your kayak
Your Kayaks are fantastic buddy
Learning more and more . Can you buy smaller outriggers ? I only use an 8ft Kayak …⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I don't believe you still read/answer comments, but use a quart ziplock to cover the gas can spout. It prevents the chance of water droplets and ultimately them getting in your outboard. Trust me on that one, its from experience. Also, you should flare the top of PVC rod holders. If you can't flare them because of their closeness, somehow dremel or angle the inside walls. PVC like that will damage your rod butts.
Love the intro drums!
Awesome great job 👍
Awesome men, looking forward to some blue water fishing! Hookers and coke😂
Your boats put me in mind of dragonflies.
HOLYYYYY MOLLYYYY
Where did you buy the outriggers can you put up a link I can’t find them anywhere
How will you get large fish along side of the boat?
Damn, bro! Upgrade
He’s serious guys!
That thing is like the v8 swap of kayaks
Nice rig!
haha hey Steve... Gotta love the dramatic unveiling music. haha Steve so there's no way you load that up and travel to a launch site and then assemble. So you 're keepingn it docked somewhere? So are you using one for "off shore" and one for "inshore"? I'm confused. Ah, so now I get it. Steve, Love the vids. Love the merchandise and love that you share your unique life with us. Thanks.
Love ur vids broski
dude great video do you have a extra outrigger for adventure ?
You’re missing a motor. Luv it
It would it would have been great to see it do whatever it did take people through the adventure with you the misses the near-misses the successes the fails
Would have been interesting with a big Amberjack and those dual pontoons?
Your Kayak is a Motorcraft Steve , do you have to have a life jacket or vest in it ? That Keys Marine Patrol can be pricks I know they messed with me more than once .
This is the exact setup I'm working on. The only difference is I have a 5hp mercury outboard motor.
What outriggers are you using. I cannot find those long ones anywhere
How did you mount the Well System for your transducer? I can't seem to get any adhesive to stick to the Hobie plastic. Could you make a video on how you did it?
Did you connect the engines to one another so you can steer with one arm? Or do you just lock them straight ahead and use the rudder?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome rig
Do u have to get your kayak registered since you have motors on them in the state of Florida
Art kitzmiller got it right... please call this the warbird🤣
Nice rig - can you paint the clamps with rustoleum? Can you provide the link for the anchor system - thx
I can smell that salty soup from here. But sweet kayak setup👍🏼 off to Cuba
2 engines on a yak hmmm that square grouper biz must be off the depth charts...
Impressive! 🤙🏼
Awesome
You mad man.
I'm in the process converting a revo 16. Having a problem getting rear brace and ama. Where did you get your parts?
LMAO I am so ready for this!
Awesome 😎
The things we do for a little tail!
Do you need to have your yak registered when you put these motors on?
Would you look at that bad Larry! All set for Marlin now!
My first time Kayaking and this Kayak held strong. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx4k5UrhC3v_Y4hIEaXLGvHcN5a5aBmZNB The water got pretty rough as a speed boat zipped by me, and the Kayak withstood it (I expected to be capsized). The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!
