In response to Buvey, ultimately it’s not fair that you are put on the spot and made to defend what your club is alleged to have done, BUT .. the reason you are brought to these platforms like a lamb to the slaughter is specifically because prominent Manchester City supporters (UA-cam and Podcasts) have all refused to engage in ANY kind of serious conversation about what their club is alleged to have done, and the wider implications of that for football. It means that the latest City supporter to be on camera is the lightning rod for an issue which hasn’t been discussed anywhere. When my club (Arsenal) joined the European Super League, I said there and then that I wanted my team and all others involved relegated for actively attempting to harm football, and many of my favourite Arsenal voices amongst fans were devastated, and treated the issue with all the gravity it deserved. If Arsenal were accused of what City have been accused of I would be devastated. City fans meanwhile hardly seem to care.
