Kira Leland Hmm well I think that's the point actually. His design can go both ways. The author can make him go from looking like a silly character that looks like they're straight out of Kirby, to making him look absolutely horrifying. So really he's both. I honestly just think it's a perfect design choice for his character in general.

People stop hating the earl for playing the melody. And for your information the lyrics were never part of it in the first place. When allen was young he and mana made some symbols they were from a child's play, the lyrics don't change anything in the ark, only the wish and the melody from the player. And besides the earl had the official version. Although only the 14th could control the original ark after he cursed it. So now the new black ark in the possession of the noah can be controlled by someone other than 14th.
I tried looking for it as 'Musician' by Yumi Mitora Kusakurin, but not much info could be gathered. but when i heard it from the dgrayman ost, its titled 'Koigokoro' by Wada Kaoru. it has the same melody just that its played with more instruments other then just the piano.

STRONG TITAN Mana went insane and split his soul. My theory is that when he exploded his face in front of the mirror he removed his human self, and that human became Mana Walker and went to take care of Allen. So the current Earl is not Mana but Mana was once a part of him.
( Spoiler alert!!) if you read the manga and get further into the series, Allen was chosen to be the next 14th so he might be half Noah or might be becoming one.

The words are most likely from before the original three days of darkness where the Noah clan used Noah's ark to survive the end of the world. Thats why there is no records of those characters existing. The reason the earl couldn't play that song to control the original ark since it was cursed by the 14th so that only he could move it from his secret room.
anyone have a download for THIS version of the song? it's been featured in the anime a few times, but i can only seem to find Allen and Nea's version. looking for just the piano, if possible.
