- An expert in Israeli Arab culture, Dr. Mordechai Kedar served for 25 years in IDF Military Intelligence, where he specialized in Islamic groups, the political discourse of Arab countries, the Arabic press and mass media, and the Syrian domestic arena. He holds a Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University. He is fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. For those of us that believe, we attribute this to God. I see his hand in all Israel's blessings, but I appreciate different opinions exist.

I have one criticism of this interview: you stopped it too early. Dr Kedar was at full steam when you called time. Not only does Dr Kedar offer penetrating insights, he is a wonderful raconteur and intellectual. This was an extraordinarily valuable interview. The world would be a better place if it could only heed his warnings.

Thank you Dr. Kedar for the informative videos. Could you please give your understanding as to why Israel was so very slow to respond to the Hamas attacks on Oct.7th. No helicopters, planes etc to curtail the massacre ,,, why not ?

This question would make much more sense to ask leadership of the Israeli military, don't you think? It seems top to bottom naive thinking/hoping the Palestinians will be nice, caused army guard to be horribly let down. Intel and fast response systems not prepared.
@@roundedges2 very true, however as you know the IDF head honchos are hopefully busy dealing with Hamas now. , Hizbullah etc. Plus Dr Kedar has the unique understanding of our IDF intelligence, and perhaps more importantly the pulse on the Arab street.

Kedar is also a very common name in Hinduism. In fact there is a hill that's named Kedar parvat (mountain in Hindi and ancient Sanskrit). I will not be surprised if tomorrow a deep ancient inherent connection is found between Jews and Hindus. Long live Israel and Love from India ... Much respect to Dr.Mordachai Kedar !

Unfortunately demographically this is true and started 5 decades ago in France . Add to this the fact that spirituality died out at about the same time and abortion rights were inscribed in the constitution and the more recent fact of sterilization of young people and especially young girls in the name of dysphoria and human rights .
This said , I have lived the first 16 years of my life in Morocco where tolerance and respect among the 3 main religions was real .
But that was then and there . I don’t see the same thing in France nowadays sadly 😢
