I just love cover art. Singles are so nice to display, also the only reason I collect some! I have a small spinner rack where I have some in on display. I am still on the look for a big spinner rack so I casn display more, but they are so hard to find over here.

Read the riddler one bad day Jess, it’s short, not so sweet with a great ending. It’s the best of the one bad day stories in my opinion.

I don't collect single issues, but...
I have a big collection of Legion of Super-heroes singles, currently totalling 675! I also have a full run of both Young Avengers runs (plus miniseries), as well as a complete Buffy The Vampire 'seasons' run, and all Serenity/Firefly issues ever released.
I stopped regularly buying singles to read a few years ago, but these few collections have so far avoided the cull.
Nice on that Young Avengers! How about books that have them like Death's Head or star a few like Ewing's New Avengwrs/USAvengers and Empyre 🤔
@freddiealonsonido I have those! Plus a couple of the Pride issues that have Teddy and Billy in. I lost track of those two after Empyre though, so I think I've stopped that particular collection for now.

@freddiealonsonido actually, I did get that too! I think it must have been after that I stopped. I heard they were in the latest Scarlet Witch series, but I might grab the trade for that.
@@comicsvstheworld Oh maybe, haven't read that yet. I know they showed up for a few issues of Wong's Captain Marvel and that Loki mini I showed the Reis #1 variant (but not in that first issue lol)
Jess, did you get number ones of every new 52 title, or what inspired tou to start reading a Harley Quinn series?
Yeah I did get #1's of the N52! I was really excited about it and that's how I got into Harley! And out of some others lol

she's assuming that and 80% of those issues will be sold. I will keep 4 or 5 short boxes which shouldn't be a problem (famous last words lol)
Were your books insured as a collection, individually, third option?
How was the value of the books determined? Market value, cover price, ebay sold listings.
I have mine insured as a collection for a set value, so I'm not sure how or what I'd claim if only a portion were lost instead of all of them. I guess by percentage.
Insurance paid nothing?! What's the point in us paying thousands and thousands each year for all the various insurances we have.
it was determined that outside water caused the flood and that's not coverable. I had sump pump failure insurance but it was clear that outside water had come in and not sump pump failure. That was rough to be sure
Read 8 billion genies digitally. I found it only okay. Not worth buying for me.
