I’ve had a 24-70 for years and have enjoyed it, but didn’t realize how much I loved it until I went to Italy for 10 or so days and it was only off my camera for maybe 3 hours total. Like you said.. it really is a perfect lens for traveling
I'm about to buy a 24-70 for the first time this year (somehow I've never owned one lol) and I'm really excited to finally have this focal length. Great video!
Even before this one, (the what's in my bag video you did) - you had me sold on just getting the 24-70 gm II. Oh, and the 100-400. I have no idea how many lenses I have, but downsizing for good quality ones that cover a huge range seem to be a wise choice as I get older. I definitely think i'll pick up these two for an upcoming trip from England to Chicago & Colorado in winter.
I love my Sony lenses especially the 24-70! The versatility is just a game changer. Andddd the 100-400 is my ideal zoom. Though I do want to try the 200-600 too! Hope you like these lenses as much as I do!
I’m in a big dilemma, 24-70 gm ii or a bunch of fast primes .. I currently hold the 24 1.4 gm for low lightning conditions and the 70-200 gm ii… I wonder if I should buy it or just go for 35 + 85 1.4 gm’s
I think it really depends on what you’re shooting! I photograph in fast paced environments and mostly outside. So for me, primes although they’re incredible, can be a little cumbersome in the field. The 24-70 is incredible for versatility and really works for every situation I find myself in on most days.
@@awexome I'd say 24-70 is great for traveling and, or convenience because there's no need to stop what you're doing to swap out lenses. That said, the 24-35-50 GM primes do outperform this lens hands down. It's up to you, if you don't mind carrying and swapping out lenses often on location then go for prime lenses. If you just want to focus on shooting, carry one lens, and try different focal lengths in matter of seconds then go with the 2470.

It’s a game changer for sure. I bet you’ll love it 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for this great tutorial...you sold me on the gm11.....the manual aperture ring is ideal...✌️
Love your effect on the photo! Do you have presets to buy or a Lightroom tutorial?
It also does wildflower close ups with the resolution of my Sony 2.8/90 macro.
Tried 2 copies, both tilted with weak right side. Test yours before the return period is up. I’ve decided to wait for the 24-70 F2.

Hi I have a7cll, should I get this lens ? What are your thoughts. ?
@@IRFAN-po5sz I'd wait and get the 24-50!
I own a 24-105 f4, I'm between getting the 16-35 2.8 or sell my 24-105 and get the 24-70
Hi bro, so what you did, got 24-70 ll, if yes then what's difference in comparison with 24-105. ? Thanks.
Hi there
I own both. The 24-70 GM ii is brilliant, but the 24-105 4.0 is an incredibly good "budget" zoom lens. Tough choice...
Spot focus is trash on this lens
