@@lloroshastar6347 I think this is exactly what they intended. Every faction has the potential to be in conflict with every other faction, including themselves. Hell knights seem to be mostly former Praetors or mortal champions. The rest are probably so diminished that they can’t exhibit even a percent of their former power and also shackled to a special armor thus are a loophole.
The hell knights are deformed angles or mortals who reached demonhood, right? I wonder what a demon-mortal would look like, and how they reached their status
Brother, you weren't listening. Most of the units are demon-mortals. Actual demons are forbidden from the mortal realm, same with actual angels. I know exactly where I would be when every time you would say something about God's plan my thoughts would say, "Is his plan really so easily upended? Pathetic."
So if im understanding this correctly, hells forces must limit their power, can only have so mulany hellish units on earth it will increase the power of the devil and thus allow God to send more of heavens armies to intervene?

artist Mike Franchina. It's in the description.
24:26 is that a cat?
The hell knights are deformed angles or mortals who reached demonhood, right? I wonder what a demon-mortal would look like, and how they reached their status
Brother, you weren't listening. Most of the units are demon-mortals. Actual demons are forbidden from the mortal realm, same with actual angels. Hell creates demon-mortals as a loophole to send to Earth. They achieve their status by either their creation or being particularly devoted to hell and it's masters.
Unless, you meant something else, in which case, can you clarify what you meant?
I know exactly where I would be when every time you would say something about God's plan my thoughts would say, "Is his plan really so easily upended? Pathetic."
anyone whos just hanging out in this universe
interaction
plss make more
Where can i read about the lore
So if im understanding this correctly, hells forces must limit their power, can only have so mulany hellish units on earth it will increase the power of the devil and thus allow God to send more of heavens armies to intervene?
Yup. If anything truly demonic leaves hell, then all bets are off and the angels arrive.
@scannerbarkly But wouldn't the church of metamorphosis be described as demonic? Or would they just count as advanced hellish mutations, I don't know maybe it's my personal bias but the church of metamorphosis has this weird unfair advantage
@@bigblackjay900 How can they have a weird unfair advantage when we don't know anything substantial about them yet?
@@scannerbarkly in your video of the warwolf and per your description not verbatim tho, the warwolf is the first instance of the forces of hell adapting to the centuries long war, thats fucking worrying
Also I'm only using your videos to get into the lore (best voice and quality among others). So as per my other comment unless the forces of hell is your favorite (again nothing wrong with that), I don't see the forces of good overcoming the forces of hell, especially since they're only alive since hell will not ally amongst others it is only a matter of time
They say the Finns are the happiest people on Earth. But this is only because of their lunacy. They gain sustenance from misery and no hell constructed can compete with their rapturous self--crucification and eldritch knowledge.
I say this with love, really
I mean, between this and Fear and Hunger, I'd say we're noticing a theme here

Can confirm
So good
I'm new to this lore, why do so many of the big guys have a little guy curled up in the middle? 💀
Because they need to have mortal components to be able to enter the mortal realm.
I know who I'm using
First baby, new trench lore woooo
Cool
I would love to see a faction of angels. Imagine biblically accurate angels fighting with extreme zeal
Lads this is absolutely brilliant already but not from the normal world but from that of the otherworld. The 8 sin gets mentioned quietly but only those who know are able to tell.

I'm new here - What is Trench Crusade? It looks so cool!
An upcoming tabletop wargame, the general synopsys is hell has waged a never ending war against humanity and creation.
Humanity has become a hyer religious grimdark cult of yahweh, they use tactics and methods almost as evil as the heretics to "communicate" with and use gods power.
I believe it's set or started around WWII which has cause a massive stall in technology and warfare, what has advanced seems shoddy or solely did so for religious purposes.
I'm not sure if this really covers it I haven't dived into this lore yet.
A new skirmish tabletop wargame, similar to the Warhammer family of games.
idk man i dont think the humans who basically have to beg a god that wont ever listen to them for help can win against the devils who use angel parts and have cool magic
It's said in lore that the only reason new Antioch stands is because Hell is too busy with in-fighting, the devils, in their ancient existence, barely having even started the war
if i remember correctly, according to the lore some angel came down to help but its mere existence f***ed up allies and enemies.
Its all oh so dark and grim and grim and dark and grim. Cheer up for a little bit, dudes. You don't always need to one up Warhammer.
