Even though you used the projector in your video, I think you should return it. It's clearly junk and the store needs to get enough returns, that they won't even carry it.

I got that back scratcher as a white elephant gift. I actually use it for camping. It’s great for clearing the ground under tents and camp rugs but still small enough to pack away.
The ice cube tray technique is to roll it lengthwise into a tube shape with the ice cubes on the inside. Not the outside. Squeeze it and the ice falls out the end.
I saw a projector like that nearby me and didn't buy it because I expected it to be about what you showed. I even thought when I saw it that I wish I could see you review it, so excited to see it included in this video!
That's pretty crazy to me too, because when I used to work at Walmart, I was shopping after work one day and I saw a projector on clearance for $15. An actual, working projector, not a cardboard box. It's 720p, and I knew it wasn't going to be a home theater type of experience, but for what I paid, it's more than serviceable for outside movie nights or whatever. How can you spend almost the same amount of money and get *this*
@@Rhodeygirl Not really false advertising. It does project an image. Doesn't claim to have any electronics inside. It's basically just mirrors reflecting what's on your screen. Which is why you need to turn it upside down. Only way for that to work through the lenses. Which is also what other projectors do, but better with other software and a light source to produce a better image. This is basically what you get without all the other components of what we usually think of when we talk about a projector. But it's still technically a projector because it is a device that projects. Does it horribly, but does do what it's advertising.
The most interesting thing I have ever found at TJ Nax was a men's Thong in the men's underwear section, with all of the other boxer shorts. I snapped that right up, and the woman in the checkout lane was quite interested to look at the front of the box, then she made a comment of how the man was lacking in endowment. 0:200:20
If any of u r looking for white noise, Lectro Fan is legendary! Lifetime white noise user & after having to replace my different branded unit, I found this & it's tiny, has volume settings, can get very loud if u need it to & has different fan sounds & white noise. I actually prefer 1 of the fan sounds. It's a very clean sound, pleasant & I love it. Highly recommend. No weird interference either. 5 out of 5 stars for me.
I never realised it’s called TJ maxx over there and TK Maxx here in the U.K. It has something to do with the time they first opened over here when we had a shop called TJ Hughes so they changed it to TK to avoid confusion. Every days a school day an all that
I found a large, soft side/mesh cat carrier that’s FAA approved at my local TJ for $17. On Amazon, there’s a very similar one with a sale price is $28 and “retail” of $40. I’d say I got a good deal.

I went in one a while back to buy a can opener and found a can opener shaped like a pink pig. My kitchen is eclectic and it really doesn't have a theme but I do have pigs all over my kitchen (pot holders, bowls, timer, etc.) So to find what I was looking for shaped like a pig, well I just had to have it. I also hit the food aisle everytime I go in one. Great selection of coffee and different kinds of snacks. Love T.J. Maxx!

that speaker reminded me of the existence of weird LED light bulbs... Firework bulbs, kaleidoscope bulbs, galaxy bulbs, salt bulbs, fire bulbs... Might be a good idea to do a big light bulb haul see if they work as advertised!
Also you're supposed to 'crush' the Ice to make crushed ice. Smaller cubes freeze faster, and when ice freezes faster it becomes fragile and easier to break (like a Popsicle).

Well you just enlightened me that we have their australian arm over here called T.K.Maxx. They say its not as cheap or good as the yank ones ,but still have some weird and cheap deals. Theres one not too far away, i'll go investigate.!
The bladeless fan is something i bought similar from Walmart. It’s a light and fan with a diffuser. It’s wireless and rechargeable. It was like $13. Not very loud and I love it, perfect for my nightstand

I had bought a smaller version of that silicone ice cube tray long ago . I had the same problem getting the Ice out but what made me stop using it was it quickly started to impart a funny taste like really old freezer burnt tastes but it was fresh ice. junk threw it out.

They are *REALLY* useful, not only for reaching all places of your back you normally can’t reach, but it collapses to about the length of a pencil (around 7-8 inches) making it _VERY_ easily portable! And a bonus function if you keep one in your bag, it can be used to get things off the top shelves while grocery shopping (just extend it and use it kinda like a grabber) 🥳
About 25 years ago I made one of those projectors, it even worked the same way, but with mine I had a one piece box with a paper thin lens I slipped over a 13' television. Moving it back and forth focused it....mine put out a solid 50 inches....it was bright provided it was dark. These days I use a real HD projector with a dedicated 150 inch screen and 7 channel surround. Football and gaming are fun🤣
Bladeless fans are a bit of a con because promoting it as bladeless isn't true. They absolutely have blades, it's just that the fan is inside the base. I suspect unless you buy one of the full size floors (also, more expensive) they probably aren't very good. And you're right about it being loud (probably because it's made of cheap materials).
I was at TJ Maxx last week in Town Square, Las Vegas on the strip. I was looking at the projector and thinking about buying it but I’m so glad I did not. Great video as usual.
Gunna seem lame but, on my honeymoon with my wife, we spent a little over a week in Arizona, mostly in the flagstaff area. But we went to Vegas for one night, both our first time as well in Vegas. Coming into town we both wanted to get a shirt for when we walked the strip. And we stopped at that exact tj Maxx! I feel little cooler now lol
Best ice cube tray I've ever had came from Rubbermaid. Cubes slip out easily, are the perfect size for the mouth of my water bottle and still last all day. $1 for 2 trays at a thrift store.
Yep! Those “crushed ice” things have been around for years and I bought mine through Zulily years ago! A Royal pain to get the cubes out but not nearly like the real crushed ice!!
None of these products are made by TJ Maxx. They are all products you can find at other stores as well. So it's fine to steer clear of this one store chain. But this same stuff is going to be many other places. Are you going to steer clear of every single store that has any of this stuff? How about choosing wisely what you buy rather than throwing out the whole store?
The white noise machines I've owned in the past, and many YT videos, play on a loop. It doesn't take long for me to be able to recognize it and start anticipating when it repeats. That keeps me awake, so I won't use them. There are many great YT videos playing different color noises, and if you can find one without ads (because no one wants to be woken up at 3am by an advertisement for Kroger), they are much better.

Those "bladeless" fans are misleading. All they do is use a blower wheel in the bottom like your furnace at home uses.
I have a handy heater, been going strong for 2 years. Heats real good, surprised cause it's small.

TJ maxx has great clothes and pet stuff you just have to SMART and buy the right products
