    Incredible game. Bobby showed how many moves ahead he was in his calculation.

    Because of the difference in class, Fischer crushed his opponent and the game did not even reach the endgame. If to identify it by theme, I think it is not so much about strategy as tactics. It shows how to attack the opponent's King. Anyway, very instructive.

    Great Game the wizardry of Fischer it’s funny growing up Bobby Fischer was a house hold name very popular a well known champion but unfortunately I wasn’t following GM Chess back than I’ve only started watching the last three years but I’ve learned a lot in those 3 years I wish I had followed sooner I think I would’ve been a bit better than the 1172 I am nowadays Thanks for the Game excellent analysis as always

    Fischer should have been a surgeon. His opponent was patient but the operation was ceaselessly effective and inevitably decisive. I can only wonder at such levels of deduction. Thanks for the help.

    After Nf6+ and we go through the line to show why recapturing with the pawn doesn’t work, what happens if he had recaptured with the bishop on e7?

    2:42 Why black didn't take the pawn on g5?

    • @mohammadnaufal1027
      @mohammadnaufal1027 5 місяців тому

      Same question, ... may be from the perspective of advance/expert, the reason why Black didn't take g5 pawn is clear but for beginner/intermediate chess player still dubious (why Black didn't take g5 pawn)

    • @michaelcarroll5801
      @michaelcarroll5801 5 місяців тому +2

      Because d6 will be lost after the dark squared bishops are exchanged.

    • @detective5887
      @detective5887 5 місяців тому +3

      In my opinion, Bxg5 is probably a bad move since the g file can now be use for the two white rooks to attack in blacks kingside and after exchanging the two dark bishops in g5, d6 pawn will soon fall by the white queen.

    fantastic game + commentary. Thank you again.
    Presumably Fischer had foreseen the move Qb3 ... imo this is one of the greatest moves ever - not so much the move itself, which once you see it is pretty obviously overwhelming, but the fact that Fischer must have calculated this several moves earlier ... truly stunning example of the GOAT's imagination and prowess. I was rocked back in my chair by this realisation.

    Watching this game makes me realize that chess is at least two games, at once. There’s the tactics of the pieces and there is what results after those tactics have been resolved. Fischer was a master at both!

    Fischer virtually played a flawless game, which was not uncommon when he played. He also put the poor man on defense from the start, which GM Bolbochan did rather well but still had no chance against an ultimate attacker!

    Another great game and excellent presentation. Thank you! I agree with another poster on here that wonders why you don't have "a million subs". I have watched and/or subscribed to about ten other channels, and yours is easily in the top five on UA-cam, and personally, I'd rank you at number two...with my fav being Agadmator, only because he goes into a bit more analysis, sometimes has more historical background, and also sometimes includes some nice pics of tournaments and/or players. But, that's not to diminish your channel at all, and as noted, I think it's excellent. And, I agree that yours should have many more subscribers, and if kind of baffles me that it doesn't. I could understand, based on just people and their different tastes, if you had only 500K, or maybe even 250K subscribers, but to have just over 21K with such an excellent channel, and when some that are not near your level have far more, is puzzling. But, I guess that's good for the serious chess players among your viewers if/when we meet others who don't subscribe to you in a tournament. hehe Best wishes!
