Hello Nikki! 🌷Great video about your favorite products. I have three of those and I bought it because of your recommendation. I have very dry skin and not so many products work for me, so I barely use makeup lately, just a lot of moisturizers. I should say that Nars concealer is too drying for me, same as Tarte shape tape one. Much better choice for me is Lancome Effacernes longue tenue. The powder by Terry, is also drying and it does not do much. I am trying to set my eye lids and stop it from melting my eye shadows, it's not working. Same thing for under eyes, in the mix with the Nars concealer, everything ends up in my wrinkles. Any tips how to prevent that from happening? 🤔 I just recently bought Benefit 24 h eye brow gel and I agree with everything you say. Great product, worth the price. 👌

Press powder has more pigment and it feels more heavy on the skin and with loose poder I think it is just for seal the cream or liquid products and it’s finer than the press powder also if you wanna do baking. Sorry for my English😂
I've heard that the No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Translucent Finishing Powder is a dupe for the CT Pressed Powder! Haven't tried it yet but it's on my list to pick up from Target sometime to test.
No7 is fantastic. I'm in the UK and it's been around for years and it is or was Lisa Eldridge who is behind all their products . Their foundations, eyeshadows, lipsticks well everything is fabulous. I love their cream eyeshadow sticks and they colour match you for foundation so I finally got my correct shade and haven't gone bck in 20 years.
grandelash makes a dedicated grandebrow as well. I have used the grandelash before and want to try it again but there's some scary stuff in there that can cause eyelid darkness, iris discoloration etc. I know that you say to do your own research but it's worth mentioning these potential side effects when suggesting a product.
Have u tried the LYS pressed powder it's super similar to CT powder and the number 7 lift and luminate pressed powder is amazing it's my favorite in the silver compact. I really want to try the CT Brighting pressed powder , I'm super picky about powder and I have dryer skin I think people with dryer skin you work on would love the number 7 lift and luminate pressed powder, I have it in every shade and I have got so many people on it that don't even like powder or people that love the CT pressed powder I have converted to the number 7 and it's like 13$ well it maybe up to 15$ now that everyone is raising prices.
I’m so jealous of people who can use lash serum. They irritate the hell out of my eyes, make them red and tired looking. I’d never thought of trying them on my brows for some reason. I’ve got 90s/00s surviver skinny brows, maybe this would help! Benefit 24 Hour Brows for life! And I absolutely love the Got2b gel, it makes my brows look so fluffy and voluminous for a more dramatic look. I water it down a little by wetting the spoolie so it’s a little less crunchy and can be worked through a little more so the hairs don’t spike together quite as much.
Ok so you have to try Kosas cloud set powder. It’s beautiful! I doesn’t look powdery keeps the glow but gets rid of the shine! It’s undetectable, you have to try!

Agree about Chanel lipsticks, there's nothing like it. But I hate a matte lipstick, l only the ones from the Coco Rouge line, have been for over 10 years now and I always get compliments on them. The formula is amazing, it's a creamy, slightly shimmery hydrating lipstick that has a great staying power (I apply it in the morning on lip balm, then reapply after lunch on bare lips and in the evening only if I go out, I have oily skin). Cannot recommend it enough. THE BEST.

Am curious if you’ve ever used Jurlique loose powder. If you’re sensitive to smells, it won’t work even tho the smell (of roses) dissapates pretty quickly. I’m so hooked on it to set my makeup. My makeup lasts for hours….the best on the market, I believe. And, it’s not too expensive.
I love the IDEA of eyeshadow primers and I use them regularly in my Kit for my clients that have more oily eyelids but to be honest, I’ve yet to find an eyeshadow primer I’m in love with.
My dear Nikki! I am a big fan of you and your makeup techniques. I have the majority of the products you use, but I thought you were using Jouer liquid and pen concealers instead of Nars. What would be the difference between them? Also, what is the order to do your brows? Do you fill them in with the Anastasia pencil and then put on the hair gel to get the laminate effect? Thanks in advance for your answer. I have seen and re-seen all your videos, but I would like to see from an eyeshadow palette🎨any technique you have to combine or select the right color combination. I use Both formulas of the Jouer and could have easily added them to this list but the Nars is my very first love as far as concealers go which is one of the reasons I chose it for this video. For my brows this is the order, I lightly shade them in, then brush them up with the brow gel THEN once that’s completely dried down I go back and fill in any more gaps. It’s a process! I love your suggestion for a video and will definitely knock that out hopefully soon!❤️❤️

@@lisagoldman287 hi! These will transfer if you have oily eyelids or if you just use them on top of bare skin, I use them on top of powder eyeshadow and usually blend them out which prevents them from transferring!
Hi! It’s not IDEAL for oily skin. You’ll need to powder it down quite a bit if you have oily skin. I recommend it more for anyone with normal, combination or dry skin.
The strawburn shade from abh brow products is perfect for me. No other brand has a perfect shade like that for me. I do not like her formula though. The brow pencil is too slippery.

I want to buy & send you a tube of the Etude House bare edge brow fixer just to get your opinion. I also feel like I have tried every clear (& tinted!) brow gel out there . I got it from a K-beauty site and it’s pretty incredible!
I’m not sure why they are a fav for so many, they don’t give off the most coverage, the tiny applicator feels hard and pokey and doesn’t distribute product very well and the tube runs out insanely fast…
I love nars concealers but they aren’t for dry under eyes at all. And I’ve never heard anyone say it’s hydrating . Odd . It’s dry as hell but works so I mix with eye cream …
Hi Rose, that’s so interesting to hear, I’m my experience it’s been one of the best to use on my clients who have dry skin, it’s a very creamy formula which is why I love it. But glad you can make it work with an eye cream!

Also Dior for under eyes is actually way better than that Nars your using. The Nars in a pot is oil free and high coverage if you need it . But ya everyone of my you tubers has always agreed how the regular one is drying .

Am curious if you’ve ever used Jurlique loose powder. If you’re sensitive to smells, it won’t work even tho the smell (of roses) dissapates pretty quickly. I’m so hooked on it to set my makeup. My makeup lasts for hours….the best on the market, I believe. And, it’s not too expensive.

I love the IDEA of eyeshadow primers and I use them regularly in my Kit for my clients that have more oily eyelids but to be honest, I’ve yet to find an eyeshadow primer I’m in love with.

I have the majority of the products you use, but I thought you were using Jouer liquid and pen concealers instead of Nars. What would be the difference between them? Also, what is the order to do your brows? Do you fill them in with the Anastasia pencil and then put on the hair gel to get the laminate effect? Thanks in advance for your answer.
I have seen and re-seen all your videos, but I would like to see from an eyeshadow palette🎨any technique you have to combine or select the right color combination. I have NARS palettes eyeshadow and feel that I don’t know where to start with those beautiful colors😬

To answer your question yes! I use Both formulas of the Jouer and could have easily added them to this list but the Nars is my very first love as far as concealers go which is one of the reasons I chose it for this video.
For my brows this is the order,
I lightly shade them in, then brush them up with the brow gel THEN once that’s completely dried down I go back and fill in any more gaps. It’s a process!

Please do swatches of the products you show. Plus a tio, Minoxidil is so mo cheaper than Grande Lash and much more effective

I would use Mac but they test on animals and it annoys tf out of me because their products look amazing.

Hi! Do these liners transfer onto your lid or do they set down?
@@lisagoldman287 hi! These will transfer if you have oily eyelids or if you just use them on top of bare skin, I use them on top of powder eyeshadow and usually blend them out which prevents them from transferring!

is the luminous silk foundation good for oily skin? I read so many mixed reviews!!!
Hi! It’s not IDEAL for oily skin. You’ll need to powder it down quite a bit if you have oily skin. I recommend it more for anyone with normal, combination or dry skin.

The strawburn shade from abh brow products is perfect for me. No other brand has a perfect shade like that for me. I do not like her formula though. The brow pencil is too slippery.

I find that the nars creamy concealer picking up ALL of my texture under my eyes. Has been my least favorite for dry skin.

I’m not sure why they are a fav for so many, they don’t give off the most coverage, the tiny applicator feels hard and pokey and doesn’t distribute product very well and the tube runs out insanely fast…

I love nars concealers but they aren’t for dry under eyes at all. And I’ve never heard anyone say it’s hydrating . Odd . It’s dry as hell but works so I mix with eye cream …
Hi Rose, that’s so interesting to hear, I’m my experience it’s been one of the best to use on my clients who have dry skin, it’s a very creamy formula which is why I love it. But glad you can make it work with an eye cream!
@@Makeupbynikkilarose it dries very quickly and creases if it’s on actual human under eyes . And since it’s not oil free i don’t use on face . Laura mercier and estee lsuder are my go to non fail . Also Dior for under eyes is actually way better than that Nars your using. The Nars in a pot is oil free and high coverage if you need it . But ya everyone of my you tubers has always agreed how the regular one is drying .
