I’m only noticing that Evil Julian’s skull has a hat for some reason while normal Julian’s doesn’t. And Evil Julian was actually a fun villain to watch I guess it’s the design and voice
i can't get over the way Julian just goes "oh hello evil me!" at 15:31 before holding out his grabby arms as if not recalling the amount of destruction his counterpart just did over the span of just a few days
2:56 This scene always gives me chills. The flickering lights, Ghoulian walking at the dead of night on an empty street, breaking the fourth wall by whistling the theme song,, it was so creepy yet so cool XD
While I love Evil Julian as a villain, I wish we've gotten more of regular Julian, or at least have Ghoulian act more like Julian occasionally while still being evil, like how Julian acted in "Der Monster Klub".
I actually wish we could have seen more of the original Sorcerer when he was freed from his underground prison. Yes, there's no denying that Evil Julian/Ghoulian is an excellent secondary antagonist, but I think the Sorcerer should still make more appearances, as he still is the No.1 Villain and Main Antagonist of Randy Cunningham.
Fun fact... what your saying is why they made evil Julian Because alot fans and coworkers like his character the way he was but the story staff made him to be the next sorcerer So they side fuck it he split into two because of the shadow realm.
I think Julian/Ghoulian has to be one of my most favorite roles by Dee Bradley Baker. He really does an awesome job sounding like an anxious emo/goth similar to Licorice Cookie.
I like how the monster form Ghoulian takes isn't just a recolor of Julian's. It feels more distinct, given how the two act. Julian's monster form is more slumped over, while Ghoulian's is stanced more upright (one is more cowardly, while the other is more aggressive). They both keep the spider motif, and both executions of it fit the characters nicely. Overall, it's just a small detail I enjoyed.
12:19 we not gonna talk about how smooth this was animated I'm not one to praise smooth animation but conning from a show that does a lot of snappy movement this is fricken insane
I don’t remember a lot about this show but I remember reeeaaally liking Julian and his evil version, this compilation reminded me why. Really underrated show and underrated character!
I really like literally everytime he speaks. His voice. His robotic evil and high pitched voice combined with the crazy laughs... it's almost addicting.
funny thing is when the sorcerer reunited with his past and original self he was really happy to see him and wanted to be one again but evil julian on the other hand straight when he saw his other self and they were about to merge again he was REALLY desperate to not combine again looks like new sorcerers like evil julian never want to be one again
I like to believe that the old sorcerer with all his years existing started to be his own person, and by that I mean he started to become more than just the evil version of the peddler, he was hollowed and he realized he can never be whole. he gave up his evil just to be done with all of it the moment he found himself again. In ghoulian's case, he was nothing more than a machine of destruction figuratively and quite literally. he didnt live long enough to realized what he was missing till he got it back.
When you realize that both this show and a modern show have a similar motif in the main villain. Negative emotions, playing a factor in both. And with a hero sporting a red and black outfit.

I have never heard of this character. In fact, I'm not not even sure what source material he originates from. That being said, I already have an immense amount of admiration for this man.

If there was another season, I would've loved to see Julien become aware of Ghoulian and use his powers for good. In a Hulk/Bruce Banner or Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde situation. And eventually become friends with Randy and Howard. The main cast was a tad too small imo.
GOD I LOVE HIM SM,, he's prob my favorite villain of this entire show, while yes a part of it is bc he's heavily associated w Julian, he's so great on his own, just the pure chaos & passive aggresiveness is just,, 👌 AND he's giving tumblr sexyman energy and i'm all for it
I really liked Evil Julian. He felt different from the other villains. Evil Julian doesn’t have the wealth or the robots of McFist, nor the raw power of the Sorcerer, but he's easily the most cunning and tenacious. He has a far better success rate than McFist or the Sorcerer, who are routinely foiled by the Ninja, and by the end, it took freeing the Sorcerer to stop him. My main gripe is that I wish we had more of him. Evil Julian felt like he was meant to be around for longer than his arc allowed, which might have been the result of the show's cancelation. It's unfortunate.
yeah, it's sad when a interesting character gets introduced then the show is canceled so they have to wrap things up fast, this is a good example, another is what happened with ok ko, they had a lot more planned but were forced to shove it all into one episode because CN killed it due to spamming the hell out of TTG to falsely boost it's ratings

I finally watched the full show. And now I can see why people want a Season 3, It ended on a cliffhanger, It was incredible to see the sorcerer temporarily work with the ninja to stop Evil Julian. It was refreshing to see the sorcerer go back to being a friendlier unamed peddler. The creep then mentioned something along the lines of... This isn't over Ninja, signifying that the creep knows Randy is the ninja. Then we saw the bloopers then boom! The series ended. I do want to see more of this show. Also thanks for introducing this show to me. I will continue watching your videos
It might be the socceror ball that randy break it until his whole mecha suit and himself fused together into cyborg. That why he become " Evil Cyborg Juilan." Like how the designed the cyborg figure inmerge the ball from the inside.

I think he did voice carnage already. In the ultimate spider man series, I forgot which episode, the carnage Symbiote takes a physical form. The voice sounds extremely similar to that of Dee Bradley. Edit: turns out it is him.

Also Evil Julian is a mind into Julian I suppose. Like Julian's ditsy goth act may just be an ACT. Look how smart and resourceful Ebil Jubalia is. He taints the water supply, he's an active villain, like he's the mastermind and the fighting opponent. That means Julian has the potential to be this chaotic good and even neutral. He lacks a drive I suppose. Idk I wanted it explored more.
I feel Ghoulian's Villainous Awesomeness & Potential is amplified by his and The Sorcerer's situations and comparison: 1) Ghoulian is a modern teenage goth in high school with access to modern technology and a Chaos Orb. Who also seems to be a magical protege despite not having any practice with real magic before the series, likely due to his genes/natural instincts along with the incalculable research he does on magic and supernatural stuff as a goth. 2) The Sorcerer is/was a dude trapped in a hole from olden times where fear, panic and magic were much easier to acquire. Who needs help from McFist, VICEROY & The Monsters he creates.

I know this is a "ghoulian" compilation, but I loved the fact that the Ninja/Randy can also be corrupted by the evil/chaos balls (10:46). It's something you barely see in any show, because they don't want their main character to appear evil. Glad to see some creators out there can still risks a few things here and there.
Tbh I think evil Julian is probably one of the best villains has ever been in the show imo, his character and voice acting got to be one of the interesting ones.
Ok I just finished the series, and one thing I adored about Julian/Ghoulian specifically is their distinct voices!! The va really shined on both in different ways and I'm glad they got to do both versions bc it's so cool to listen to Julian's more subdued and cowardly sounding voice and Ghoulian's loud and villainous one. Especially when they're both in the same scene cause the difference is so apparent while still sounding like the same character :]]]
Randy's life would be so much better, and, everyone else in the series if he just 'accidentally' arrived too late to save Howard from some monster. Friend or not, that guy is poison. Idiotic, self centered, and a danger to himself and others. The few times he's useful are massively outweighed by the downside.

@@friendlyfriday3445 from what I've been able to gather after Conn told me the name, it turns out he actually voiced carnage in the old 2000s spider man game. Honestly, I loved his performance. And after all this time, I'm almost positive he could do even better now that he has more experience.

Yea he did voice him in the 2000s game but, in my opinion, it wasn’t that good. His newer take on the character, the video link, is much better

Also Evil Julian is a mind into Julian I suppose. Like Julian's ditsy goth act may just be an ACT. Look how smart and resourceful Ebil Jubalia is. He taints the water supply, he's an active villain, like he's the mastermind and the fighting opponent. That means Julian has the potential to be this chaotic good and even neutral. He lacks a drive I suppose. Idk I wanted it explored more.
I feel Ghoulian's Villainous Awesomeness & Potential is amplified by his and The Sorcerer's situations and comparison:
1) Ghoulian is a modern teenage goth in high school with access to modern technology and a Chaos Orb. Who also seems to be a magical protege despite not having any practice with real magic before the series, likely due to his genes/natural instincts along with the incalculable research he does on magic and supernatural stuff as a goth.
2) The Sorcerer is/was a dude trapped in a hole from olden times where fear, panic and magic were much easier to acquire. Who needs help from McFist, VICEROY & The Monsters he creates.

Julian is an example of that minor character that you see every few episodes and who somehow in the later episodes becomes important to the story
I know this is a "ghoulian" compilation, but I loved the fact that the Ninja/Randy can also be corrupted by the evil/chaos balls (10:46). It's something you barely see in any show, because they don't want their main character to appear evil. Glad to see some creators out there can still risks a few things here and there.
Dude This show is already gone about 5 years ago, yet I cant get rid of this nostalgia and entertainment from this show...

Tbh I think evil Julian is probably one of the best villains has ever been in the show imo, his character and voice acting got to be one of the interesting ones.

Ok I just finished the series, and one thing I adored about Julian/Ghoulian specifically is their distinct voices!! The va really shined on both in different ways and I'm glad they got to do both versions bc it's so cool to listen to Julian's more subdued and cowardly sounding voice and Ghoulian's loud and villainous one. Especially when they're both in the same scene cause the difference is so apparent while still sounding like the same character :]]]

Randy's life would be so much better, and, everyone else in the series if he just 'accidentally' arrived too late to save Howard from some monster. Friend or not, that guy is poison. Idiotic, self centered, and a danger to himself and others. The few times he's useful are massively outweighed by the downside.
