Nice watching a video from a UN colleague. Thank you sir for sharing that knowledge broadly👍👍. It is an inspiration to the many looking towards joining the UN.
Eloquent, elite, encouraging piece and the bond between dad and daughter i like... On addition,i have alaways loved UN jobs but i was kinda hesitant to apply because i have a lower education background(A'Level certificate) and my kind of experience is in sales now that you have educated me about how you can get one am going to try my luck plus adding a foreign language(French or German) Do you have any websites that i can get in touch with? Thank you.
i don't know about German but for French a lady called Alexa on youtube is a great place to start. she has several playlists teaching french in a way that i find easier. I don't think qualifications are everything but they also help so if you can work on that side too.. it would likely also help
The application process for Un Jobs is so tedious and unnecessary ....however that's the dream so I soldier on always😂😂😂😂... anyone else who is not sure what they are meant to do that isn't the course they studied 😢😭it is so stressful trying to find my grounding❤❤ ❤
I don't think it's "unnecessary" because that would mean they can just pick anyone from the streets. I'm sure you mean it's unnecessarily long. They could make it shorter but you'd still have to apply 😂. Keep trying
Hi Cissy, thanks for the information. Please ask Dad how to get a roster number. Been applying for many years but looks like I need to have rooster number. Also, can I have a one on one with u?
My understanding is that you get a roster number if you are on their roster.. i.e you went upto some stage in the application process.. Kindly follow prossy who i talked about in the video on instagram (iamthatuncensored).. she has webinars on cvs and other such useful things.. i don't do one on ones for such purposes as i don't know much about it myself
I don't think you would call the UN evil if you lived in a refugee camp and your next meal depended on it! Let us be open minded and respectful, there is no perfect organisation !
I don’t know why youtube recommended this video but there’s definitely a purpose. This is such an insightful video

Your dad is a colleague in the UN family... only E-Duty Stations .. wow ... I don't know how the algorithms brought me to this video. Thanks
Wow.. that's so interesting.. does e duty station mean you work virtually?
E is a hard duty station or non family duty station....these locations you are not allowed to have your family as they are high risk stations
@@stanslus Oh yes it is really scary for us the family
@@stanslus where are you based?
@@drcissyatwine It is usually mostly safe. High levels of risk management and SOPs as he may explain to you the details
