If you live in the UK then coins are better. Bars are subject to Capital Gains Tax when you sell Coins are not.

In my opinion both are equal value though it's not true. Comes down to selling or melting down one oz is still one oz. if economy collapses i don't think you can worry about premiums

In the uk I think it’s best to by coins cos with bars u have to pay capital gains tax we’re on coins u don’t pay that tax but coins will cost a bit more
