I had a piece of paper stuck in the machine when I received this alert. I opened up the back and very slowly...1/2 inch by 1/2 inch....pulled it out. Then...I replaced all of my pretty near empty ink cartridges, then..... I cleaned the printer head twice. All is well! And to think..... I had visions of running to Walmart...for a brand-new machine.

My problem was the plastic at the back of the printer head had snapped off and it was stopping the head moving to the end, it was getting caught on the screw for the belt. The bit of plastic fell off. I'm putting it back together to see if it works, but if not I know I need a new head. Rewiring the connectors is a pain, take a photo before hand folks.

It worked! I found this printer so that was a bonus. I'll replace the head, but for now it works. Nice printer.
