- In this video you will learn how to repair a sealed horn without opening it . 99% of horn have there coils in good condition and all they need is tuning , so first check the coil with multimeter or by applying battery power to horn terminals , if the coil is good then you get tak sound from the horn when you apply power to it.
Once you know that the coil is good all you need to do is tune your horn with the help of adjuster screw tight or loose it accordingly to get proper sound . If you check the coil and it shows no reading or beep on multimeter and no tak sound when applied power to it then that means either contact points have carbon deposited or the coil it self got burned.
In most of the cases carbon gets deposited on contact points and if you check the horn from outside it will show like its dead. All you need to do is clean the contact points , to do that first completely remove the adjuster screw then add diesel or wd40 throw the adjuster screw hole and either re tight it completely or press the tone plate then shake the horn and clean the contact points carbon properly.
Once you clean the contact points drain and dry the horn then check it again you should now get the beep in multimeter or tak sound when supplied power and all you need to do is tune the horn.

Aap ke explanation ka tarika achcha hai ❤
You saved my day! Thank you!
Thank you Bhai for complete information.
if you apply 12v, the oxide on the contacts will not breakdown. easy method, apply 220v through a load more than 100watts momentarily and the oxide will breakdown and the horn will function normally. Be very careful with high voltage
Bahut badiya sir thanks
Thanks for information...
Very nice information ❤
Good job sir
Good job
V nice
which capasitor inside ?
❤❤❤
Nice impromision.👍👌
shield vala horn ho or upr skrew hi na ho to open kaise kre jo aap second horn bta rahe the use opn kaise kre
use open karne ke liye side se cut lagana padta hai tabhi open hota hai
Why capacitor inside in the horn ?
if by chance battery is low , then capacitor will help the horn to work with full intensity , example if car accessories are on like stereo , ac/blower or any other lights then battery will be under extreme load then horn sound will be low to none that's why capacitor are used mostly
New horn main kuch years baad yeh problem kiyun aata hay?
sir horn ke contact points pe regular use hone se carbon banna shuru hota hai or ye problem aati hai
Nice information
