The main problem i have with this storyline is that it robs you of your moments of glory, (WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD) things would be cooler if you could duel Ffon and make him admit you're the better sith before finishing him off, If you could break free of Zash's ritual ending her forever, if you didn't need help rebuilding your body but, completing quests for the spirits to subdue them after their revolt (since they would be admired that you would push through and still wanted to continue fighting Thanathon), that you'd actually manage to subdue darth andru without help from Kallig, that you'd actually manage to hold your own against Darth Thanathon and only use the spirits to deliver a devastating coup de grace on him in a blatant, unnecessary and destructive show of power, amongst other things

so if you play dark side inquistor your voice becomes darker
