Today I am really very happy to see our respected Gaurav Gogoi is delivering his speech on the subject of parliament. I am so happy to see someone from Assam and citing the real issues of the parliamentary system today . It's so important that all our citizens are educated about these problems and the way to solve them. A hollistic approach should be taken to address these issues where all the three organs legislative, executive and judiciary function in their own domain , and checks and balance and s.o.p should not be undermined too. And accountability , transparency , efficiency , effectiveness, and participatory democracy is what is the need of the hour. Democracy needs to be a inclusive and responsive and proper public grievance redressal mechanism andmonitoring mechanism should be provided as well
