Chamuça infact is an Arabic savoury. However, its more popular in India than in Arabia. So, it could have made its way to Portugal either thru the colonies in India or Ras Al Khaimah ( ex portuguese colony in the MiddleEast) or thru the moorish influence.

Olá! Se queres só um, podes dizer "pastel de nata". Se queres mais do que um, dizes "pastéis de nata". Mas quando estás a dizer que gostas de os comer, em geral, dizes, "gosto de pastéis de nata" (no plural). Espero que ajude. :)
