I can only speak on the sun conditions in Florida. I think you are really going to see a difference in production by changing those panels around. I have my panels on pallets that act as stands. When I put them vertical I have less shadows throughout the day and they just catch more sun. Looking forward to see if that holds up for you as well. If we the people took your advice on your rant we wouldn't have the problems that we have. The things that people are accepting these days is jaw dropping!
My backup gen runs 14.5 hours on 5 gallons, but 5 gallons costs $25. Minimum if I drive 50 miles round trip to get it. And they have messed with the blend to make it unstable to store Ling term, so you either have to add Sta-bul to it, and raise the cost, or use it in a short period, or it will ruin your gen and void the warranty. Freaking crooks!

Then realized if i put them on the roof and have to park in the sun.. I have 14 245 watt. 24 volt Trump said he was going to put an embargo on china. I got nervous Was still working. And bought them...
