Nice bucket, I would have definitely gone the route of redesigning the arms though. You'll have a better time scraping AND dumping if your lower bucket pin is as close to the ground as possible when fully lowered.
That is a pretty neat model. Do the parts match Meccano ? Are you aware that a real skid steer is controlled entirely with 2 xy joysicks ? If the manufacturer understood that, the remote could match the real machine. Nice mod on the bucket. Have you tried to connect a 5 in 1 type 2.4 GHz transmitter to the receiver ?
I LOVE the bucket modification! With your custom bucket on it, she looks capable of actually doing some work now.

This is really just a fun little toy - so the controls are a compromise. I didn’t try any other transmitters.
