What the heck! The driver never cared to stop and help this girl. She was screaming for help and distraught. Sometimes, it really made me question, where’s the humanity in all these?!
Too coincidental about the initials. I would be looking into school or the church. For all 3 girls to be Catholic, from broken homes AND have learning disabilities tells me it is someone who knew many details of these girls' lives. We all know the stories of bad priests and the cover-ups that happened. A priest could also fit 13's description of feeling inadequate.
@hollyhock3945 - I've heard about this case for Decades and yet the Cops Never considered your Common Sense and OBVIOUS Solution to this case. Is it the case that the Cops knew who the killer was but were covering it up to protect him and to protect the City from a Scandal ??? "News Flash !!! Police have just revealed that the Alphabet Murderer is the Archbishop of the Rochester Catholic Diocese !!!" In the social and moral context of 1971, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to make such a public announcement about even the lowliest Catholic priests. Back then ALL clergymen were considered to be Beyond Reproach.

Yet i felt compelled to watch it through to the end and i am glad i did because....getting these stories is important. Vital even. Why? Well because in my opinion, this new approach called "outing" someone or something seems to be the only way to stop it. Did they compare the DNA with the man in California? It would have ruled him out easily if it didn’t match. So terribly sad that the family is still waiting for some answers. 😢
You mentioned that Wanda Walkowicz was from the High Falls area of Rochester. Did you say it was just 30 miles from where Carmen Colon had lived? I think you meant 3 miles. Maybe I heard that wrong. Someone please let me know.
What about DNA comparison to the photographer in California? You ruled out the others that way! SMH! What about geology? Othram and other laboratories to build a family tree for the suspect? Again, SMH!
Rochester was a mill town, but it's most significant contributions are more impressive. This is where Susan B. Anthony voted, and worked with Elizabeth Cady Stanton of Seneca Falls in the first days of the women's rights movement. Where George Eastman invented flexible film which allowed the movie industry to happen. He suggested that school children have hearing and vision checkups so any issues can be resolved. Xerox and the Xerox copier are from Rochester, as well as Bausch & Lomb and French's Mustard, although French's later moved out of state. It's my hometown.
Like detective Sal said at the end, we all seem to be influenced to try and relate to these cases, like the era, names, locations and situations we've been in. Do you do it as well? He said there's always the higher authority to contend with after death, there seems tO be a disconnect between the old school cops and the younger ones also in the cities as well, believers and non believers.
Yeah the “ he just wants to love these little girls”. No honey…. He doesn’t want to “love” them. He’s sick…. Personally I think thirteen is like ted Bundy in that he helps Matt and John because he likes the attention. When I listen to his voice on this series, the hair on my arms stand up.
Let's see... It's the early-1970s, most likely no access to computer systems but certainly access to other traditional-type of information systems, access and/or contact to children with learning disabilities who also have problems in their families. A police officer? Not likely. Someone perhaps from the school system, social care sector, church or even healthcare branch...? That could explain the double initials if it's not a coincidence.
If the three girls had learning disorders, the killer has O.C.D. maybe its someone who works in a school setting, this case is a hard one, maybe 13 was right about the double letters having some kind of meaning for the killer🤔 Bottom line these little girls were taken away from their families & their lives!!!💔😥
