I would add if your struggling in passing the guy in the water with the 2 phase fight. Go lvl up your in fighting the bone skeleton and grind a bit and get some more points to build your stance or health enough before you fight him again. So I had to grind a bit and got my health bar up enough to survive since your gourd are helpful yet.
Would be nice if I had actually followed a little more of your direction, as I had some painful losses along the way, like taking full advantage of the armor sets as opposed to simply going for defence or fashion. What I likely would still do is put off putting sparks into survival skills and rely on celestial medicine to boost certain stats instead. I was able to do so till chapter 4, where most of the skill trees I wanted to develop were either fully or close to fully upgraded. Anyways, you progression works nicely, so.thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I usually focus less on medicines because I want to save them for later in the game, but it’s good to know that boosting stats early with medicine worked too. I’m glad the progression tips helped!
@@kimshiwasabi I ended up with lots of mind cores because of chapter 2, and the Tiger Vanguard beating the crap out of me many times. 😅 And, honestly, given how celestial medicine only enhances certain physical stats and resistances separate from your skills, while sparks enhance everything, and the fact you can also reset your celestial medicines, I find they are useful and very flexible from the very start. Survival skills really depends on certain situations, but I would generally prefer putting sparks elsewhere to develop my abilities more, such as spells or a stance, and leave the rest to the medicines.
@@AegisKHAOS haha yeah, Tiger Vanguard is not a joke, I had hard to time fighting him too. Yeah you are right, probably smarter to use medicine and put other points into spells and stances.
Man, you need to change the description and remove "first playthrough" cause you wont have 4 focus points you're showing in the vid on the first playthrough. Its very difficult to find build guides for the first one
But I did play the game from the beginning fresh, not a new game plus. In order to get 4 focus points you will have to level up your staff stance to last stage in your "Focused Attack IV". You can achieve 4 focus points on your first playthrough.

True! The snake dude was not a joke for new players. Thank you!
Good progression guide. Pretty logical. Cheers.
Thank you! 😄
