I’m SO GLAD you found a copy and got it cleaned up. It’s essential on a 50+ year old record. I’m obsessive and use a VPI vacuum AND an ultrasonic! I swear those pink rims are amazing; and even though it’s been remastered remixed and redone, it’s still the most consistent pressing, especially with the QC issues of later CR pressings. Regardless I’m ecstatic that you found a great copy… congrats! Also I wouldn’t worry to much about missing a digit in the matrix, as long as the GP is there, and a pink rim, you’re golden!

Another great review Jefferson. I love my Nautilus pressing. Now I will need to snag an original. Thanks for the shoutout as well.

@@JeffersonDD Sadly, I have the B to B ... I wondered why it didn't sound as good as I remembered....... the "Fillmore Concerts" CD sounds better, kind of sad ; )

@@richardlloyd5519that Fillmore concerts is great. I love how they spliced together the differnt versions of Elizabeth Reed

@@richardlloyd5519just be patient and keep your eyes open for a pink label original. They turn up quite often, shouldn’t be too expensive.

I have a 1st press and a 1st press of the quad version both on vinyl, the mixes are totally different the MOFI is very smily face but sounds closer to the quad version

The label is not wrong, the label has just been misapplied this is very different to typo's and misprints

Great job buddy! Only small (pain in the arse) detail is that you kept referring to the BLACK TO BLACK reissue as the BACK IN BLACK(!) each and every time even though you kept holding it in front of the camera ! ! !
But that's OK you are forgiven! How could I be mad at you for having an AC/DC moment??? LOL

Ha!! Good one Oz! Yes I noticed it during editing but didn’t want to reshoot it. Next time I’ll add a correction on the video.
Thanks as always for the feedback:)

@@JeffersonDD hahaha! Well if it’s any consolation I doubt many would notice, and if they do, that they will even care so I wouldn’t sweat it!
I am sure OCD peeps like me are in the minority.

You have to have a decoder for the nautilus otherwise it's terrible

@@robertwoodward9231 How do you mean by a “decoder”?
Maybe you think this is a Quadraphonic edition?

@@LetThereBeSound1 when nautilus did the half speed mastering for I think about 115 records in the early 80s, most didn't need a decoder but this is one of the few that did. I have a pristine copy I paid 55 bucks for 2 years ago and have yet to get a decoder. I also have 2 others that sound great. BTW, the seller didn't inform me that I would need a decoder You can find the list of all the nautilus recordings which tells you the ones that need it.
