Yeah but if she was just shot in the leg, why didn’t he take her with him? She was alive when he seen her, what am I missing? He should have piggy backed her to safety. I would feel so guilty for leaving her alive and not helping her, then they find her body?

The Nova Massacre is such a tragic and very sad story. So many young, beautiful, fun loving people who were gunned down like animals. So many stories both sad and heroic from the many who survived. I believe them and do not doubt them. I lift up all who were lost that day and pray for those who survived such horror.
I lift them all up including their families, to the Eternal Lord who made both heaven and earth, may He be their strength, their hope, their consolation.
I stand with Israel.
And the irony of this is that these people were mostly pro Palestinians, not all Israelis are , but the ones from the kibbutzim were .. and Hamas slaughtered them ..

The Lord kept Yoni alive and gave him a voice to be able to give his testimony to fellow Jews, haters and deniers. Hopefully God will use his story to open some of the deniers' hearts. The reason there are haters and deniers is because of satan. satan is whispering in lots of ears that this didn't really happen, just like back post holocaust. God is greater, but it is going to take people like Yoni to go out and testify to the truth.

He's talking about a different Shani. Shani Louk was the young woman whose half naked body was paraded through Gaza in the back of a truck and spit on. Her skull was found in Gaza and verified as hers by DNA testing. What she experienced was horrific, as was everything that happened that day. Her murder/torture seems extremely barbaric.

it's a flight or fight response. very few people would be thinking of saving others in that situation unless emotionally attached to them. everyone was running for their lives. easy for us to question since we weren't in the situation.

I think you may be missing the fact that thousands of terrorists were chasing them by foot, motorcycles, cars, paragliders, trucks etc. shooting at them with guns, anti-tank missles, RPGs etc.. in a huge open field, with nowhere to hide. I dont really think you, or anyone else without 100 lives would or could have done when you aren't armed yourself. That may be why, wouldn't you think?

He didn't elaborate but possibly she herself didn't agree to go with them. With a shot out knee they couldn't have carried her either. Don't judge or think why he didn't help. Fearing for your life as a terrible situation to be in. There are so many heroic stories that the hero trying to help also died.. None of it is rational.
