  • You can see the concaves better in the Carbon version -- • 10'6" x 31.5 x 3 3/4" ...
You can see our patented hull design that we apply in all our boards. The rail edge on the bottom SLOPE UPWARDS to for and INNER CHINE (v-hull) by 3.5 inches on each side - so the board will stand like a 29 in wide board and MOVE like a 21 in wide board - NARROWER HULL = FASTER when moving -
The Center of the board has DEEP 10 mm concaves to reduce even more SURFACE TENSION ( water friction ) on the board surface.
Our all carbon board - it has the LEAST amount of "water friction" of any hull on the planet.... thus less effort to paddle it and much faster compared to any board of similar size and dimension that is made with a FLAT bottom = Most amount of water friction = SLOW
....Another impossible board to make.. epovy infused Carbon cures into a super hard surface that needs tremendous finishing to get smooth..... The results are amazing is just twice the labor of a fiberglass board #custompaddleboards #carbonkevlarboards #exoticboards #highperformancesupsurfing
Carbon Vector Net - the Minimalist no Frills carbon board - Apologize for the no preparation script.. just ad hoc explaining what we do...no time for double takes...ONE TAKE - Please share it - took a long, long time to do this ... all of 6 mins

Sweet boards but I dont agree with your philosophy of paddle surfing nor board design. Liters are just as important as width and length. Its your skill level that determines the board you can handle.

I weight 200 lbs and ride a 79 liter board, 7'6" x 25" x 4". I have been through hell and back getting to an expert level on SUPs. Flotation aka "Volume/Liters" comes at a sacrifice which most beginner SUPers dont want to deal with, once they start getting serious and improve their balancing skill they will surf on the wave better with shorter narrower (width wise) boards, not longer, flatter and thin ones which is your philosophy.
I had a flat thin board at 7'10 x 28 x 3.5 and 90L, it couldnt hold on the steep parts of the wall of a wave and kept flipping on me causing me to wipe out.
Went to a board at 7'8" x 27 x 4 and 90L and it rode the pocket well. I will admit thought that the thinner 7'10" board did hydroplane easier as I started to paddle and pick up speed due to its width of 28", but once on the wave it sucked. I love talking SUP so please dont take offence. Rock on dude!

I would say it's about the complete package. I have a Hypr 11'6" Gun which is 165L and yet it is more stable than some larger boards I have tried. The board sits lower in the water than an equivalent board of the same plan dimensions.
So, for me litres are important but so is the plan area and shape (Width and length) along with whatever other stabilising effects that can come from the bottom profile and rocker.

rks note... you're preaching what I preach EVERYDAY but most people WILL NOT use a low volume board.. I actually train on just a surfboard.. usually a longboard..so you're barking up the wrong tree... you should say that on the iSUP or Starboard page those guys really f-things up

Great description and video. Not the board for me but amazing design and craftsmanship!

Please share it with your friends with FLAT BOTTOM boards ...it's just physics, not mystics

@@hyprian Thanks I get the physics of a good planing design, but I'm paddling flat water so my board is 12.5 and a 14 foot board might be better.

For @Frank Ladd - he blocked me from responding..total coward !!! - Frank Ladd ... yes of course LONGER waterline will travel faster... but you're not comparing "apples to apples" ..we are NOT talking about LENGTH or Flat water vs Chop vs Surf .. you're arguing something that's not even the issue..., ALL I was saying that a FLAT bottom board will have more hydrodynamic drag than our FLOW concave hull.. so both IDENTICALLY shaped boards will move differently because of the BOTTOM of the HULL..This is how OUR 12'6 bottom looks ua-cam.com/video/0Ww8D8i5PJ8D/v-deo.html8i5PJ8 - what does yours look like ?

I don't understand how can I block you? Isn't this your video? That fact that the board is not for me should not be something you take offense at. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't paddle a Sinker in flat water.

@@FrankLadd Well, now I can reply.. and I only reply because your kind of philosophy regardless of flat or ocean is basically incorrect ..i.e. floatation volume is not the same as EFFECTIVE MOVING volume. I couldn't reply before, that was a weird thing..why would you be paddling a sinker ? R U about 300 lbs ? - check this out - ua-cam.com/video/Cxh5GDTz5iU/v-deo.htmlua-cam.com/video/Cxh5GDTz5iU/v-deo.html
