LIVE: Saudi Crown Prince MBS Announces $5 BN Investment in Egypt | Firstpost Africa
In a major boost, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has ordered the Saudi Public Investment Fund to pour $5 billion worth of investment funds into Egypt. Cairo said this was the "first stage" of Saudi investment into the north African country. The announcement came after Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met the Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh. The two leaders discussed boosting bilateral ties and investments in Egypt. Watch this video for details.
