@@inarifilms Not hating on what you did, was meaning the title of the video suggested more of an overview of the community than what it actually showed. Think of it like this, imagine this exact video was titled "Unveiling Australia's Motorcycle community" see how it doesn't match what the video showed? same thing. That's what I meant. I totally get it's not an easy thing to capture the entire motorcycle scene because it's a massive and diverse community, even just in Melbourne. But since you asked, to really do it properly you'd have to put in the work and do some serious research to accurately identify all the different flavours and groups so you can plan out a more accurate and inclusive snapshot of the community as a whole. I guess you could consider this video as a very small slice of the bigger picture. So If you actually wanted to do it properly, you'd need to break it up into small parts, focusing on more specific aspects each time. It would be a cool thing to do, but it would be a lot of work too, so just depends on how much time and effort you're planning to put in to this youtube thing. tbf you've got a lot of potential if it's something you did want to pursue, lots to learn but there's definitely a solid foundation there already fr, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered responding. If you do want to make heaps more videos, start by visualising the bigger picture/end result of what the channel looks like after it's successful and work backwards from there. Have a look at some of the popular youtube mini doco style content creators that have been successful and how their channels and videos are presented (thinking tommy g for example). That way you can drop smaller short episodes with a niche focus (and title to match lol) that will eventually make up the bigger overall picture of the community. Hope that makes sense. Hit me up if you've got any questions or you want feedback on ideas, would be very cool to see some solid Australian based content, done with a fresh and interesting approach.
@@__Max-oe6zm actually respect this. I can take constructive criticism and will definitely take note. Yes, this was my first time doing it. I’ve got no doubts that there’s a lot to learn from this video. Each video I do will improve overtime. I’ll need to make some mistakes first. Appreciate the comment bro.
Just wanted to say that I'm a 58 year old Harley rider and I got my 1st bike in 1976 at the age of 11. I've ridden all types of bikes over the last 47 years , so I don't care what you ride, I'LL WAVE TO ANYONE... or nod. It's good to see so many new riders coming into the motorcycling world because there's plenty of road for us all. Just look out for them cars. Keep the rubber side down and the wind in your face.
Melbourne's riding scene is so much more than just the city and night time rides up and down chapel street. You'll have to come back during the ride season.
For sure, I mentioned that in the video as well. I’m well aware about cold weather impacting the turnouts of group rides or rides in general. I have no doubts the Melbourne scene during summer would be heaps better
@@Unmethicatedyes and no, there’s riders all year round unlike other places but summer brings them all out for sure. Holidays/weekends and warm weather. But we have a lot less riders in Melbourne than Sydney.
bro you did amazing for a small creator your gonna go places my bro i like how your 100% real with it too i see u stuttering n stuff which isnt a bad thing just shows like your giving us good content and its not all just an act if u know what i mean your just you i reaspect you for that
It's cool to see everyone having fun , I'm going to put in my 5c , when ridding in the Dandenong ranges be very careful , the roads can be very slippery even in summer , there is at least 2-3 motorcycle fatalitys every year 😨✌
Melbourne here mate. We have been trying to foster quite a comminuty over the last few years. If you're ever down here again, hit us up and come out for a ride!
You definitely need to come back and mingle with a couple of the big riding clubs we have here and really get the Melbourne experience we have to offer. You might have met less than 1% of what's out there. But thanks for coming and still enjoyed watching
Yea like that kiwi girl said in this video. Auckland is where it’s at for group rides & all the bikers are there. And then there’s only Christchurch too. The only 2 cities in NZ you’ll find sum1 to ride with basically
Maybe next time you can actually do some research and try to get the actual bike scene instead of these clout riders that dropship merch and think they are hard revbombing and chasing shit wheelies. This isn't the Melbourne bike scene.
Thank you so much for your input!! Next time, stay updated on my instagram stories so you can educate me on the scene there!! I did the best I could, if you wanted to be involved, you should’ve sent me a DM
@@inarifilmsI get that you're an outsider and don't know who to contact but asking people to dm you is half of the problem of you only getting insta clout riders. Most people that ride in the scene keep a lower profile and just ride with friends and stunt. Like you didn't even get the biggest riding groups in Melbourne like MSR (Melbourne Street riders). Or come to any actual events like bike night.
So how do you expect me to get in contact with those people if they keep a low profile? I get your point but you gotta understand the people/group who were interviewed are just well known in the community from my research. I have no doubts that there are plenty of hidden gems, but I filmed with who I was able to. Clout chaser or not there’s no doubt that they have created a community of their own.
You'd be surprised. I used to be into this scene we'd have pro riders out doing dumb shit on a regular basis, not going to give names for obvious reasons. But I've ridden with two asbk riders one of those being an asbk winner, lots of guys and gals that race hartwell or bears. Being a hoon on the street and a racer are not mutually exclusive things
Dude seeing this video makes me wanna move back to the Gold Coast, living in Rockhampton is shit. It's all just old dudes on Harley's and the roads are garbage.
I’m happy everyone is sharing their points and views on the video. I always appreciate hearing both sides of the story.
Mate that video wasn't anything about Melbourne's motorcycle community, it was just a couple of random groups of people.
So how would you have done it differently, I'm all ears.
