I love a pianist that's so good to not only play well, but well enough to catch up to and cover the mistakes of the performer. The singer had semi-serious rhythmic issues and the pianist covered them and played beautifully. 👌💙🎼🎶

Its a cover so I don't necessarily think of rhythmic l difference as an issue in any way. Some people prefer to perform songs in very slightly different rhythms to make their own take on a piece and I think that is okay.

He had meant for it to be a practice learning session, but he couldn't find a studio given the circumstances. He sent it in as a holding place as he was given a dead;ome. and he vowed to find better, yet still safe, circumstances within a few hours. The Tony's accepted this raw recording from a closet on an iPhone as one of the 10 people singing the opening song for The Tony's recorded in 2021, during the pandemic. We all must make due.
