*Not intending to sound cocky/rude* You don't need SAS drives in it if it takes the SATA connection. I have an HP ProLiant DL380 G7 Enterprise 2U rack server and it takes normal SATA drives without issue. Just bear in mind that while SATA can go into SAS, SAS cannot go into SATA due to how the connector is between the power and data sockets. From one server/computer enthusiast to another, that's a pretty nice find for a PowerEdge.
