Not an year. Consumer it maximum within a week. Store it at room temperature

@afreenmoulvi5893 in this season the sugar in the sauce tends to crystallise in the fridge so avoid
But if you want to keep it then the shelf life will increase to one month

Putting Maida has probably done that to the sauce. Don’t panic just switch off the flame, pour it into a container and let it cool down completely. It will probably set. Then refrigerate it and enjoy it like a pudding
