Our World is A Family is a timely and age appropriate kids read aloud book to help children and families start the conversation about ways to welcome families who are re -settling to a new place. Our World is a Family is written by Miry Whitehall and Jennifer Jackson and illustrated by Nomar Perez. This story will inspire families to welcome new neighbors with love and compassion. It offers a way for children to look outside of their own limited view of the world while also giving vocabulary to parents and educators who have little ones. The authors provide concrete ways children and families can welcome families that have been displaced from their home.
