Jericho vs Punk was one of the biggest letdowns in wrestling history. Cena and Rock had one hell of a match. How you can rate Jericho/Punks above it is beyond me.
billy butt bruh no match had as much hype as the Cena Rock Match in WM 28. As soon as the bell rang there was one of the biggest pops in the whole night, trust me I was there. Punk and Jericho was really good, I loved it but it defintanly wasn't as memorable as Rock vs Cena and that is indeed a fact
He came on as a face with a Ruthless Aggression gimmick... His major claim to fame was his heel persona and the popularity that came from the eventual face-turn that came with it... Ironically enough, his career path was really similar in some places to the Rock's XD
He isn't half bad in the mic or as a wrestler, he's pretty good and he is also a great role model for the future fans of the wwe. However the reason he is a 12 time World Champion is because most major stars left the wwe about 8 years ago and Vince needed a new face, so he basically worked his ass off for the first 2 title run, but after that he got every title handed to him. Hell, the WWE somehow can't seem to come up with a good storyline for the title without Cena being in it.
No matter how much ppl hate on him, he's gonna be on top b/c of the crowd's reaction... good and bad. He sells out stadiums and PPVs. The WWE machine is continue to feed this guy until ppl don't care anymore.

Saw the title and I'm thinking, man, to say you don't like the rock is like career suicide assuming Cena is going to be ripping on him during the interview too. But the more REAL interviews I see of Cena the more I like him and respect him. I totally agree. And it's not just the PG rating, but the PG era itself. There are some fans who say it's because of Linda McMahon running for Senate and the writers making bad scripts. Others say it's not PG's fault because some of the Attitude Era was under the PG rating. HOWEVER, that was back then. I think WWE is just taking the PG rating too far by being as much PG as possible. So it's still the PG rating's fault as well as WWE for trying to make things a million times more kid-friendly.

Maybe I've just outgrown professional wrestling. I'm too vested in Science now to crave blood and gore. Yeah, if only they'd used Cena better, he would've been involved in a lot more classics. They also both appeared at last years mania (which makes them a constant). The difference this year was rock/cena. Which due to hype, interest and advertisement rock/cena ended up being the focal point in the show in more eyes than hhh/taker (Tho i'm guessing those who tuned in for rock/cena were prob impressed from hhh/taker)
