The greatest advancements will come when all these small robot making companies merge their technologies by buy-outs. Thats where the money is made and the greatest advancements. Seems like a lot of needless duplification in this market and waste of new break throughs towards true focused advancement.

If an autonomous android sold as a house services companion goes rogue, and kills someone by using a weapon, who is responsible? If robot is destroyed because this happened, what assurance do we have that the code dies with the body? What happens if a terrorist hacks the robot as an act of terrorism and produces this action? What if the government is responsible?
