The loose lug on the floor tom is common practice to get that tuning... usually the drum is tuned evenly on the lugs and then by loosening 1 lug MOST of the way down will get good results.

First thing I noticed when I watched this video was the loose lug. Agree with low end loose lugs but get some lug locks! Playing the rims will loosen low tuned lugs before you finish the song!
