I am not stoned but it made me cry too. About so much things I didn't even knew I fell that way.
Hotel is vastly underrated as a guitarist, so he doesn't have insane technical ability, but he's a first rate finger picker, which is something an overwhelming majority of guitarists can't handle. He's playing fast driving bass with his right hand while picking slower high notes and he is also using his left thumb to fret bass notes as well. Respect.

The solo at 2:10 or thereabouts is simple, understated, and criminally underrated in a day and age that is all about self-indulgent wankery. It’s about serving the song and the art, man, it ain’t about ego.

If you have the album, you can right click on it, make a copy, then right click again and choose properties.
You can set it to play just the first twenty seconds, and then loop it once it's open.
Every time i whistle this melody i end up whistling ill follow you into the dark!

Love Jamie's guitar style. The way he uses of the lower e string makes it sound like he's playing the bass and the guitar at the same time. It sounds great here but it's even more impressive in the acoustic of version of Satellite.

last week i was listening to a Miles Kane interview (i like him) n he said that he likes the kills....yesterday i went to a music shop n found the miles kane album, and next to that it was the kill's blood pressures.... i found it pretty funny....so i bought the both :) (n i think i'm gonna buy the other records by the kills lol ) they're just amazing!
