The only thing missing for dks this expac is minion customisation at the barbershop. If blizz did that and add a few more undead forms, i would probably switch my main from frost to unholy
As a DK main, I am so happy to see DKs are back. Now if we can get an actual raid buff, that be dope. I do wish UH had some of the talents adjusted though. Needing to put into 3-4 talents to make apoc do what it already does now on live feels meh. Overall though from my own testing, DK is in a good spot and very fun in tww.
Pretty sure defile's damage was increased substantially when they removed the mastery part of the spell. So its still very good for aoe, but now its less important to use on ST when you take it. Plus it has a shorter CD than DnD so its almost always available which sets it apart for dungeons.
Pestilent Strike to add wounds to an enemy, than pop them with Scourge Strike while on top of your Defile for big aoe damage. Then cycling between Epidemic and Scourge Strike. As soon as Dark Transformation is back, press it again and repeat.
Hi Zuc, want to ask if the ramp is similar to what they have right now? It seemed very janky trying to DoT with 6-7gcds before starting to dps? (just like casters)
That may not be a bug. I’ll need to double check but I remember them saying that your disease buffing talents should affect all diseases now and I think the horsemen change frost fever to shadowfrost damage so it’ll be buffed by mastery.
They took the mastery off defile, I think defile is a dead talent now, not because it's bad (does way more damage), but just because of the opportunity cost against so many better talents.
You cannot mount in combat inside dungeons... That talent only applies to the outdoor world... But you do get a super long lasting steed, which replaces Death's Advance
Without epidemic popping wounds sythe needs to be brought down the 10 instead of 20. It takes a while to pop wounds now when you have to hit 20 scourge strikes if you have 100% up time on the mob your are smacking to get 1 scythe hit, which even If you are running every wound spawning ability you are still only popping one at a time now. Unless you are running the cleaving death coil but why use that in aoe over epidemic...especially when it's random on who the second DC hits and It might hit a mob that doesn't have a wound on it and it's only on sudden death coils....so scythe is horrible now without epidemic procing them. Like what is the point of an aoe wounds generator when you can aoe pop them...gg
If you take Pestilence, then you can pop multiple wounds at once, aka getting the scythe every 3-4 GCDs depending on pack size making wounds build more viable
@michalkowalski1618 Pestilence only spreads wounds it doesn't pop them. We can't pop multiple wounds at the same time anymore. Dnd and scourge strike hits 8 mobs but doesn't pop wounds on 8 mobs only the primary mob you scourge strike has their wounds popped. So you have to tab target scourge strike each mob with wounds but you can't pop a wound on all 8 mobs at the same time without the epidemic sudde. Doom proc. We have like 7 talents that spread wounds to all mobs but no wound popper on all mobs anymore. So again with out an aoe popper aoe wound spreaders suck, unless it's a bug we still have to scourge strike 20 times or talent into cleaving Death coil

Defile mastery is gone, but they increased the damage it does instead. Some builds ago
only reason I dont like playing frost isnt gameplay but setting it up to play multiple specs bcuz of the dual wielding thing

You're not reducing the CD of Dark Transformation -- you're increasing the uptime.
Can we get updates on Frost DK? maybe a comparison between DW, 2H?
I haven't tested it out, but I assume that you can break those rocks with ams up and not get stacks, since most things work that way.

play superstrain right now for extra fun numbers, its bugged because of the frost dk dmg increases and u get some insane frost fever dmg
