What did you average when you switched from your Rubik's to your Guhong?
Probably Like 40-30 Seconds

hey lucas I'm trying to create a new methid but im struggling to create 2 algoritms. It made me go to 40 seconds to 20 seconds and I need help finding 2 algs If you're nice enough can you reply and I can show you the cases and you try to see if you can come up with the alg. Thank you! :-)

My first cube was a Dayan Zhanchi. Never lubed it. Still crazily good after 4-5 years.

Please answer my question Lucas.. I'm a beginner and I want tips from you on how to be good. I learned 2 Look OLL and 2 Look PLL and the white cross. Do you recommend any Cubes for me or any ways to get faster ? Thanks.
Learn intuitive F2L if you haven't already. Learn tricks along the way for the harder cases. Every once in a while, learn a PLL or 2. After PLL, learn OLL. The OLL's are easier, so you might be able to do more every time you decide to learn some.

I hate the fact that new cubers will be like "I hate zhanchi's" or "I hate aolong's" and the only cubes they use are magnetic cubes
Jib Cuber times have changed and hardware has gotten better. Good thing we never have to go through all the shit cubes that you guys used

You haven't even tried one. These cubes were simply awesome to use and had this unique feeling that modern 3x3s lack. Just go to a comp and try some old speedcubes and you'll see what I mean
And also, don't think the warrior W represents old speedcubes. Try the Zhanchi, the Aolong, Tanglong, Guhong, F2, or many others. Those are the best.

@@Leo01471 At your level (I'm assuming you're not sub-20 by the way you think, maybe I'm wrong) and at my level (13), the cube you use doesn't really matter. What I wante to say is that the feeling and the way the cube performs is really special.

i went from randon ok 3x3 to a yulong to a warrior w and next maybe either valk 3 or a gts2
